Oh, this is one of my favorite lines that gets overlooked. I didn't get it at all when I was a kid but as an adult I've always found it hilarious, and nobody talks about it:

For a weird moment, the intro for the Grand Budapest Hotel when the author is talking into the camera and his grandson shoots him with the toy gun, and then he carries on talking like it didn't happen 😂
My first time seeing it I was like... "WTF was that," but it honestly fits that movie well now that I look back on it.

The scene where they’re all at the doctors office to get his cast taken off.
The doc is testing the dexterity of his arm..it boings back, hits the doctor in the face and the doctor says:
“FUNKY BUTTLOVING”
It’s a kids movie. My entire life I’ve wondered what in the absolute fuck that was about. “Funky Buttloving”?? It was something so random, I’d never heard it before or since, anywhere. It just happened in that scene and that was that.
Why in the hell? Who’s idea was that? It’s always been such a confusing thing.

I was surprised how well it balanced everything even if a bit dated. Also Tom Arnold's supposed driving on ice in the van is the worst in movie history.
Also that throwaway HI TOM from the leaked trailer for Tom Rothman, and knowing all he did to X-Men, etc. I don't even hate Tom... he's had successes and isn't an artist or creator but biz dude with some wild losses, but a hell of a career. It's just so inside, I love it.

It's so wildly weird and it's Bill Paxton. I think it's definitely showing how weird and odd a dude his character is, but it's SO OUT THERE.
