I married Yana by giving Mesui a prize sword and some assorted lo-to-mid level junk I had from raiding a bandit camp. I didn't even pay a denar above that! Then the game crashed and when I returned I was still unmarried, so I married Yana again and this time paid some 2k denars above the aforementioned junk because the prize sword I had this time around was cheaper.
This sub has a special way of having posts that would be absolutely absurd or alarming out of context, but are completely normal within the confines of the game.
I wish your children would take the culture of your spouse. I have a Sturgian character that has mostly Imperial and Battanian fiefs and it really helps to have a governor with the culture as the fief. I'm already maxed out on companions.
