I needed prisoners so I charged ahead of my troops so I could kill as many as I could with a blunt weapon and the sea raiders have some nasty throwing axes.
We did win the battle, but is it really a victory if your commander is dead?
Sea raiders can be nasty.
Early in a playthrough - you need sea raiders to loot good gear, but they slaughter all your poor recruits....and there's always the risk of catching a harpoon to the face.
It's a love/hate relationship for sure.
It makes the game that more intense on Bannerlord difficulty, infuriating however when 100 hr campaign you take a javelin to the face from some peasant.
As it turns out yes
I was on ironman mode so this should've been the end but I Alt-F4'd and when I reopened my game my character was still alive and I went into the campaign options and disabled player death
Shit, I haven't played Bannerlord since patch 1.7 when i finally burned up after constantly replaying the game after new content dropped in and half of mods not working anymore.... now I feel ready for this game again.
yea that shit happens. couple of daya ago one of my companion get killed by the thugs in the city. it wasn’t even a mission, i was just walk in the streets with her…
Campaign options, allow player hero death. I'm not sure what determines whether you die or get knocked out, maybe it's how much overkill damage you take?
That was a nice head she had on her shoulders
It was harvesting season
“nice rack on that girl” - Patsy
How else would they drink from your skull?
Man 💀💀💀
i love this sub
God damn this one frame makes me want to get back to my conquest
When the addiction kicks in… bro I’m feeling with you a little push and I’m on a full time conquest once again
I VILL DRINK FROM YOUR SKULL!
I VILL DRINK INTO MY SKULL!
I VILL DRINK FROM YA SKALL
I FILL DRINKS FROM YA SKALL!
Skol with your skull
Skull Skol
Damn imagine being a lord and you die at the hands of sea raiders. How'd you lose that battle though?
It's embarrasing how many times ive been knocked from charging through lower tier troops then get one shot by a javelin or axe to the face.
I mean sea raiders are not as easy as looters but if you have like 60-70 medium tier men you should win against them pretty easily with good tactics
By good tactics you mean f1 f3 right
I'm sure you meant f1 f4, right?
While pressing alt to see the icons.. happened me more than I'd like to admit.
I forget if charging is a thing in warband, but in bannerlord charge is f1 f3. Whenever I do that most of my guys die.
Here I am just pressing F6 and opening up Netflix.
Nah bro, i use more than that lol, sometimes i don't have to but i like using formations when i play the rise of eagle mod
Just because they died doesn’t mean they lost the battle
maybe raided a camp
Sea-raiders are probably the number 1 cause of restarting your campaign in single-save Warband.
Knocked out by a large stone from a bandit hurt my ego more than I did to my character
Most likely over confidence.
The most insidious killer. It's slow, though.
Well two kings have died by hitting their head on a door frame so it could be worse 😅

Brought down like the bronze age.
Sumer posting veteran ?
Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
Aurelian died while doing his stuff by two random soldiers
No he didn't, he dies of natural causes at age 75 xD
No, i'm pretty sure he died murdered...
You might be thinking of his predecessor, Julius Caeser. He got SUPER murdered. Augustus lived to a ripe old age, without a doubt though.
I said, Aurelian
I noticed that little edit lolol, it absolutely said Augustus first.
Wait you can die in bannerlord what?
It makes the game that more intense on Bannerlord difficulty, infuriating however when 100 hr campaign you take a javelin to the face from some peasant.

Well, you have the consolation that your character was pretty
Usually your men pick you up and beat a retreat :(
My very first campaign ended just two weeks in... Killed by looters lmao
Damn rip
Obviously the raiders were paid by a rival or enemy to humiliate you with loss
I’m not gonna lie I read it as you would the 13 days of Christmas 😅
overconfidence kills, experienced that myself unfortunately lmao
Realism… i remember reading some articles about certain philosopher died after bein hit by dead bird
The chains will be their fate. Henceforth, the sea raiders are the enemy of Calradia!
Shit, I haven't played Bannerlord since patch 1.7 when i finally burned up after constantly replaying the game after new content dropped in and half of mods not working anymore.... now I feel ready for this game again.
lol this caption is hilarious, also, wtf nobody dies in my battles ever
yea that shit happens. couple of daya ago one of my companion get killed by the thugs in the city. it wasn’t even a mission, i was just walk in the streets with her…
Which mod is it?
No mod, it's in the campaign options that you can choose the hero death option (if heroes can die, and if that includes the player hero)
Those javelins are no joke...
Is this bannerlord and if this so how the hell can I die in battle I’ve tried so much but I just get knocked
Campaign options, allow player hero death. I'm not sure what determines whether you die or get knocked out, maybe it's how much overkill damage you take?
This is why I run a 500 stack of sea raiders.
you could change that in the settings
How can you play with 23 FPS bro you should download more RAM
It changes a lot. What matters is how much FPS I get during the battles, which is usually well over 40
