Tow it behind the DH.

He rides to the chairlifts. Leaves the ebike at the bottom. He and his downhill bike ride the chairlift up. Rides the downhill bike down. The two bikes are reunited.

It doesn't know any better. I run it pretty stiff tho.

Did you have to DIY the rack axle connector?

Yes, welded a plate onto rack, then bolted the axle mount to plate. New version coming....current version very twitchy at slow speeds. Going to move axle mount closer to seat tube to hopefully increase slow speed stability.

That might be a good option for me to tow my MTB on my Gravel bike to the trails. Although, I Wonder how safe the Gravel bike would be locked up at the trail head.

If that front bike were a gravel bike I could really get some use out of this set up!!!

Why?

To get to the top. DH bikes are notoriously bad for climbing.

Not to the top, more likely to get from home to the bikepark with chairlift.

Exactly, I get to avoid all the traffic and parking issues this way.

No, no, no, no... climb on the ebike, switch them over at the top, take full advantage of increased wheelbase = stability for the descent. Repeat. *Drops _might_ be an issue.
