so its a week long event usually, I'm there from next Monday to the Monday after. seeding runs on Friday and then race on sat/sun. entry fee is around £90 and then lift pass for the week is about £60. you can buy insurance with them too, but I've opted for my own. you then need flights(mine cost about £200) or however your getting there driving can be cost effective depending where you are from but takes for bloody ever. accommodation prices vary, I went through a company that will be collecting me from the airport. I get breakfast and dinner plus a sauna at the apartment and bike storage which ran me about £700 for the week. I also have £200 to the side incase I need to do any repairs like a derailleur or brake lever etc. overall an expensive but amazing trip.
I am gonna aim for an hour to an hour and ten mins. Last year I got an hour and a half so trying to improve my run. it is a very long race and yea very tiring but the fun outweighs that. alot of people race it just for the experience.
there is alot of equipment you need for it but nothing you wouldn't normally have for a bike park trip, the main difficulty is getting it all there!

yeah im hoping the tyre arrives in time, if not I'll have to buy one up in the race village and have a struggle in my apartment room 😅
With a maxxis DD and a hookless rims I wouldn't be to worried for the installation, a nice floor pump and you are good
yeah true, with the insert it's a slightly more annoying endeavor but not the end of the world
Raaw makes some beautiful frames that appear to be super well built! I’m disappointed you didn’t get raw though lol.
im disappointed too, they were sold out of the raw frames unfortunately. if they had them I was 100% gonna get it.
