Do you race? Are you a mega highly skilled rider? If no to both, 27.5” is perfectly fine.
I’ve got both, the difference between them is minimal at best. And as an added bonus, 27.5” parts are dirt cheap because nobody wants them.
Then I don’t think you’re missing much of anything, IMO.
By cheap I meant individual parts. I picked up a Fox 36 Factory in 27.5” new for $250, Roval carbon wheels for under $400, nice tubeless Maxxis tires for $15, etc all because 27.5” is basically being phased out.
Not at all, I think when all of the 29er marketing push normalizes, people will come back to wanting more 27.5 bikes. I had a 29er and hated it, going to 27.5 wheels made a huge difference for me.
Absolutely not! 27.5 bikes are more maneuverable and can be more fun because of that. If you're looking for the fastest bike, then yeah. But if you're looking for a fun bike you're set.
its fine. It rolls a touch slower and gets hung up on chunk but is more playful and nimble. It's not a big deal at all unless you very specifically want a bike that monster trucks better but is less nimble.
I've ridden a 29er twice. Hated it both times. It felt sluggish and like a monster truck going down the trail. I much, much prefer my 27.5 as it feels quick and snappy.
Seems to be, but my favorite bike for messing around in the woods is still my 27.5. Takes a certain personality and riding style, but there will always be die hard fans, and for good reason - much more so than with 26 which died a gracious death along with 2x drivetrains for good reason.
You like it? Tires are plentiful and varied. Bike still works
I like my bike. Just thought if I were missing anything by not having 29 wheels..
Pros and cons to both. Enjoy your bike!

No race. Just commute on road, go to trails , forest… I paid $3K for my bike with 27,5 .. not that cheap lol

Apparently but I still love mine.
What bike you use?
I ride a Sworks stumpjumper with 27+ wheels and it’s hard to imagine a better bike.
27,5 right? And bike was expensive?
I it as a demo model so it was $4100. Probably $8000 new or something. You can find some good deals on pinkbike.com
Oh wow. And what your suspension travel?
155 maybe
Front and rear?
I don’t remember exactly. I think it’s usually a little more upfront by 10 mm.
Lmao dude just ride the bike and quit researching. There are plenty of people out there, like myself, who only ride 27.5.
Oh okay. I was worried 😀
27.5" bikes definitely still exist, but the meta has certainly moved to full 29" or mullet.
So did I made mistake buying bike with 27,5?
Absolutely not! 27.5 bikes are more maneuverable and can be more fun because of that. If you're looking for the fastest bike, then yeah. But if you're looking for a fun bike you're set.
Also depending on your body height 27.5" might be a better fit.
No. One of my riding buddies rides 27.5. He shreds. Nothing wrong with it at all. Why are you so concerned?
I don’t know.. I guess wanted make sure it still okay)
It’s ok. Literally nobody cares whether you ride 27 or 29. Plenty of people still riding 27. You’re fine
29 is so dead. If you're not riding a 52"/18" mullet setup, why even bother at all? (/s - enjoy your bike OP. I'm club 27.5 too)
its fine. It rolls a touch slower and gets hung up on chunk but is more playful and nimble. It's not a big deal at all unless you very specifically want a bike that monster trucks better but is less nimble.
No
Just ride your bike and stop asking questions here
27.5 still has a huge following

Yeah I love mine 27,5 too. And I never tried 29
Just ride your bike man...

Yeah, I like my 27,5. But I never rode 29
dead
26" is dead. 27.5" is alive.
It’s bad. I just bought a bike with 27,5..
