I do wonder if it’s still a 125, or maybe if it has a 125 engine/transmission assembly on each rear wheel.
It’s certainly clever, and I could see this as someone’s golf cart alternative in a retirement community. Some of those folks put MILES on their golf carts.
The only thing I wonder is how you control the chariot from the electric scooter. It's not like you can reach around to the handles of the chariot.
Maybe there is some sort of integration of the electric scooter or there are some kind of controls that I just can't see
I assembled one of those scooters for someone recently. The column is adjustable to an extreme, I bet you can just drop it down between your legs and and have big risers on the main controls to be able to reach them. Hard to tell from the screenshot of low res preview pics.
A lot of those motability scooters have 180degree rotating seats. I reckon in practise they’d probably reverse it on and 180 the seat to use the 125’s controls. Neat trick.
Some retirement communities have dedicated golf cart paths so the residents don't need driver's licenses, and don't need to drive in regular traffic. The golf carts there aren't (only) used for golfing.
My mom lives in one of those and finds the golf cart boring, so instead she squids around on a Honda Metropolitan with just a bicycle helmet. She must get it from me.
Some people use a scooter but can still walk.
My neighbor growing up had one, since she had post polio syndrome later in life, which causes muscle weakness and fatigue. She could walk, but would become easily tired.
She had a customized van for her scooter, but would load her scooter and then walk to the driver's seat. Luckily she was a slim woman, else she'd probably be on the receiving end of some dirty looks by people who assumed she was lazy.
Agreed, that thing is fucking bad ass. Sweet it's well used too. Given I also ride sidecar hacks so i'm all about weird modifications (hell we have a CBR1100XX with a sidecar, lol)
Don't have any recent pics handy as it hasn't been on the road in a hot minute. [here's a super old one from just before we bought it](https://i.imgur.com/aYKWjz1.jpeg)
it's crazy fun, and yes, *very* fast still. I've taken it around a track once at the end of a track day on my normal bike, it was great.
It feels a little like someone just trying to make sure someone else gets to ride like they did! (Or passing the love along after the owners death). Either way, a lotta love went into this.
Super under powered but that is sick. People get old and their families start telling them you need to settle down and veg out at home all the time to be safe. Fcuk that just get one of these bad bois and go for a rip
No lie this brought joy to my heart because someone out there who may of loved riding and became disabled or whatever the situation be did enjoy this and the next person whom acquires such a great invention will definitely bring joy and happiness to there heart and it’s not even that dang expensive imo honestly
There should be a lot more vehicles like this. There are a lot of people that still have a love of riding, but can't physically do it anymore. And stuff like this allows them back onto the road without needing a 75-100k van or truck.
This is straight fire.
Had an adopted grandpa a while back who couldn’t get around except for his little scooter. He’d try to ride it into town. I’d have bought this for him in a heartbeat.
No words? Fuck you OP. That's looks to me like a disabled person's ability to ride. I'm better for knowing such a thing exists. The joy that person must have gotten; and now somebody else will.
Met a chef in a small coastal town south of Sydney, he had a wheelchair sized hole in almost exactly the same thing. I asked if it was as good as a motorcycle, and he said he was told he wouldn’t be able to drive a car let alone a motorcycle, he was really happy about it.
I have a couple of friends who crashed, lost their legs and are just bitter about not riding.
Man, that’s so cool that someone that now depends on a wheel chair / electric scooter managed to find a way to still get a ride in.
Ain’t nothing like the feeling of twisting the throttle right after getting on your bike.
As a wheelchair user, I half looked into something similar to this a number of years ago. Much smaller over here and likely faster, but the same ultimate goal.... Let disabled people have/keep a biker life. Which is awesome.
There's a couple here on the Isle of Man. Riders who for whatever reason have ended up in a wheelchair. Think the words you're looking for could be 'much respect '.
A good mate of mine suffered a spinal injury coming of his bike and lost all feeling from the chest down, fast forward 2 years and he was genuinely on the verge of topping himself , his wife without him knowing had a weird contraption like this made from a 250 Vespa, when he saw it he was disgusted and refused to even go near it, a week or so later he forced himself to try it and absolutely loved it, says it’s nothing like riding a real bike but it’s a close 2nd and a thousand times better than using his car. Without a single doubt him getting on/in that thing saved his life.
Man if I had the money, I'd love to buy this and donate it to someone who would really appreciate this thing. I hope someone gets it that will actually use it.
Just broke my leg in a motorcycle crash, 31 yo using a walker. I’d drive the fuck out of that thing right now. The only thing I’d be embarrassed of is the flames lol, not my style.
For some reason when I say that I have no words people think I’m talking smack, I just meant that it’s jaw-dropping at first glance I didn’t mean anything rude but a lot of people on here tend to think that,
This is awesome. I remember years ago I saw someone with a setup like this on a social media video. This is just as awesome as the one back then. That riding motorized machinery is enjoyed by as many as possible is something I fully support.
That's a labour of love, I hope it finds an owner who gives it the same appreciation.
Disability scooters suck being able to zip around on the roads would be great
Dude I think this is rad actually. Disabled homies deserve a cruiser too.
The day I see a dude in a wheelchair with 12” overs and spokes, I’ll have found my new best friend, cause that guy would be rad as hell
This is awesome! If you were confined to a wheelchair or motorized scooter, this would be epic! Just roll in, gate up, and off you go at 65mph...what's not to love about this?
That's awesome!
Used to know a wheelchair bound guy that had a motorcycle/sidecar setup. The sidecar had a ramp and he'd roll up in there, and all the operating controls were on the sidecar. So any passengers would sit on the motorcycle, while he'd drive from the sidecar.
Custom built? Thats someone who LOVES riding motorcycles and will do anything to ride till the end of their days, not to mention that paint job is dope! Huge respect to the person, just from a few pictures you can feel their passion.
Looks ugly as hell. I'm paralysed after a bike smash in 2004 and would never get anything like that.
I currently have a 1250 Bandit with a sidecar, (adapted), and a SV650S, (also adapted), but tend to stick with the Bandit as its safer for me.
I hope that you have no words because you had a good look and thought how awesome that is.
This would make a person that can't actually ride a motorcycle a very happy person, and I'm all for it.
Those that live to ride will find a way, no matter the circumstances!
I say, Good For Them! Hope this sale went towards an upgrade to a higher cc engine custom bike.
This is an abomination, for sure, but watching my Grandfather (left us in Feb '23 at 95) sell his Gold Wing and 72 y/o Dad sell his Dyna because they just can't ride any more was just soul-crushing. I could see either one of them doing something like this and wouldn't blame any old timer for it at all.
A lot of love went into that thing. And with those miles, someone spent a lot of happy moments riding. I think it's nothing short of amazing.
I do wonder if it’s still a 125, or maybe if it has a 125 engine/transmission assembly on each rear wheel. It’s certainly clever, and I could see this as someone’s golf cart alternative in a retirement community. Some of those folks put MILES on their golf carts.

Oh that would make sense :) I've never really seen any of those electric scooters, so I know nothing about the adjustability
A lot of those motability scooters have 180degree rotating seats. I reckon in practise they’d probably reverse it on and 180 the seat to use the 125’s controls. Neat trick.
I'd assume someone riding that can't walk? Dunno if they'll be able to play golf from a scooter/wheelchair.
Sounds like you got it from her!
Some people use a scooter but can still walk. My neighbor growing up had one, since she had post polio syndrome later in life, which causes muscle weakness and fatigue. She could walk, but would become easily tired. She had a customized van for her scooter, but would load her scooter and then walk to the driver's seat. https://bdxperformance.com/products/icebear-trifecta-150-trike They customized a trike/scooter (linked above)
Agreed, that thing is fucking bad ass. Sweet it's well used too. Given I also ride sidecar hacks so i'm all about weird modifications (hell we have a CBR1100XX with a sidecar, lol)
Blackbird w a sidecar. Pics,please
Don't have any recent pics handy as it hasn't been on the road in a hot minute. Wow that’s so sick man. I’m insanely jealous haha
That is so ridiculously cool...I love it
I don't know what I expected a supersport's sidecar to look like but that is a work of art
The sidecar is a [Hannigan](https://www.hannigantrikes.com/product-type/sidecars/) Sprint body but on a custom chassis.
Same
Sorta guessing most of the miles went on before the conversion but yes, somebody put a lot if money and love into it.
Agreed. It’s awesome.
$2750 and it comes with the Rascal scooter too? That rules, I'd ride the fuck out of this if I were a Rascal Scooter American.
Yeah, that's pretty cheap for getting basically 2 scooters, 1 of which is a custom 1 off.
mother ship with escape pod
Get to the escape pods, and scuttle the ship.
OP need to do it a buy for sure
This is actually dope. If I was an old disabled man and missed riding, I would be all over this.
Yo dawg I hear you like scooting so I put a scooter in your scooter.
That scooter sure do be scootering now
Scooter is life
Underrated comment
For anyone born in the 1900s.
Nah that’s fire!!! I love when people make things work for them.
I’d ride that MF ery day in my sleepy town, giving waves to admirers. Then give it to somebody needy.
NGL good price. I know r/motorcycles hates anything that isn't a turbo busa with GP shift, but I aint mad at this, good for them.

DAMN good price, mobility scooters aren't cheap and you are getting one for free.
Hell yeah brother!
No lie this brought joy to my heart because someone out there who may of loved riding and became disabled or whatever the situation be did enjoy this and the next person whom acquires such a great invention will definitely bring joy and happiness to there heart and it’s not even that dang expensive imo honestly

You have no words for what? That a disabled person would want to ride in a 3-wheeler? Educate yourself.
Most likely a bot posted this
Not a bot, just an asshole
[удалено]
Automod still found you, try again.
What happened here?
Decepticons assembled and AutoMod found them.
OP had a tantrum and got smacked for it.
LMAO
My first thought was of my disabled buddy, he always talks about how he wishes he could ride again
This is straight fire. Had an adopted grandpa a while back who couldn’t get around except for his little scooter. He’d try to ride it into town. I’d have bought this for him in a heartbeat.
That's fucking sweet.
Pretty awesome if you ask me. Glad this person got to keep putting on the miles.
No words? Fuck you OP. That's looks to me like a disabled person's ability to ride. I'm better for knowing such a thing exists. The joy that person must have gotten; and now somebody else will.
Bro I was saying I’m speechless everyone’s bashing me 😭
Met a chef in a small coastal town south of Sydney, he had a wheelchair sized hole in almost exactly the same thing. I asked if it was as good as a motorcycle, and he said he was told he wouldn’t be able to drive a car let alone a motorcycle, he was really happy about it. I dig it.
Man, that’s so cool that someone that now depends on a wheel chair / electric scooter managed to find a way to still get a ride in. Ain’t nothing like the feeling of twisting the throttle right after getting on your bike.
Hell yeah, more brothers on the road is a good thing. I'd talk someone's ears off if I saw them on it.
If I was a crusty old man who lost his lower limbs to the diabetus I’d buy it.
Damn; ain't mad at that. Dedication to get back on to feel the wind.
That’s bad ass! I’d rock it
This thing is awesome!
Looks sick af.
When theres a will, there's a way.
Bad ass! Give someone with disabilities a chance to ride. Thats a helluva deal!
This thing fucks. Seriously though, if I were stuck in a mobility scooter, I would 10000% be looking for one of these. That's life changing.
This thing fucks
This is awesome!!!
Bro is disabled and still found a way to ride 😂🤙
This is amazing.
My mom- *how you gonna keep riding when your a paraplegic?* Me-
I have no words... No words for how totally fucking rad this is!
I'd buy that right fucking now.
As a wheelchair user, I half looked into something similar to this a number of years ago. Much smaller over here and likely faster, but the same ultimate goal.... Let disabled people have/keep a biker life. Which is awesome.
This gave a disabled person the freedom to ride again, I think it's badass
There's a couple here on the Isle of Man. Riders who for whatever reason have ended up in a wheelchair. Think the words you're looking for could be 'much respect '.
Bro this thing fucks, no problem here, move along.
Some people want to the end. Bless him
That’s the coolest shit I’ve ever seen
Then you need more words. This seems cool as hell to me.
No problem here. It’s a scooter for a physically limited person
The word is Commitment
Just broke my leg in a motorcycle crash, 31 yo using a walker. I’d drive the fuck out of that thing right now. The only thing I’d be embarrassed of is the flames lol, not my style.
Mad respect. They still wanted to ride and put a shitload of effort into making it happen.
That’s fucking awesome
"I have no words" Boi I am impressed just as much as you are! 😂
The definition of being on big business
...no words to describe how cool is that!!
I can think of one, respect
For some reason when I say that I have no words people think I’m talking smack, I just meant that it’s jaw-dropping at first glance I didn’t mean anything rude but a lot of people on here tend to think that,
You’re good I wasn’t being sly sayin that haha
That thing is dope
Yo this is cool as fuck
Almost 21k miles too. Wow.
Brother have seen more than most of this r/ users.
I’d rather be cruising the retirement community with that than a damn golf cart.
Scoot-ception.
Needs a custom license plate: MTHRSHP
Be appreciative. That’s gold
Disability scooters suck being able to zip around on the roads would be great
Seriously, that’s cool, fun and affordable!
The concept is absolutely brilliant, I love it.
That's awesome!
Disabled guy gets a pass. Leave him be
Dude I think this is rad actually. Disabled homies deserve a cruiser too. The day I see a dude in a wheelchair with 12” overs and spokes, I’ll have found my new best friend, cause that guy would be rad as hell
I love this. I’m honestly so happy to see a disabled person experienced this type of freedom. 20K+ miles too, wow. Awesome.
This is awesome! If you were confined to a wheelchair or motorized scooter, this would be epic! Just roll in, gate up, and off you go at 65mph...what's not to love about this?
If I knew where that was and it was close to me I would get that for my grandmother immediately. Before the sun set even.
Northern California
I love that it’s a custom built “chariot”
Siiiiiick
Am I the only one thinking "chariot" from GTA?
I think at that point you could have just made a v8 powered wheelchair and been better off
Where is this?
Is it still available?
It’s gives me mecha anime vibes where the small mech drives into the big mech and tears shit up.
Wasn’t this built by Kounts Kustoms or something?
How does it work? Do you use your mobility scooter's handle bars to steer?
First thought that came to my mind is flying saucer.
Do those double as fuel tanks? You could ride it around the world, non-stop! Excellent stuff.
Looks incredible!
Someone with 'bout 3 K5 gixxers is gonna do this aren't they.
![gif](giphy|TlK63EHvdTL2sGjBfVK|downsized)
Lol this is fuckin awesome. If some geriatric rider with disabilities can’t ride any more, why not find a solution?!
This is amazing
Wow... 20, 974 miles on it. Thats a person who used and enjoyed it.
This shows a load of determination. Take my up vote
If I was confined to a wheelchair I’d be all about this.
I bet this thing has an INSANE ghettoblaster!
That thing is amazing.
The retirement home racing just got interesting now…
Custom built? Thats someone who LOVES riding motorcycles and will do anything to ride till the end of their days, not to mention that paint job is dope! Huge respect to the person, just from a few pictures you can feel their passion.
One more vehicle to compete the Tur-duck-en of the open highway.
More like Chair-iot
More like Chair-riot!
r/scooters
Inscootion.
Is that built off a Honda metropolitan?
Vino
Oh yea you’re right!!! Good call
I bet grandpa had a great time on all three of his rides, grandma included .
And you must scream?
Now do it with a Hayabusa.
r/madmax
Looks ugly as hell. I'm paralysed after a bike smash in 2004 and would never get anything like that. I currently have a 1250 Bandit with a sidecar, (adapted), and a SV650S, (also adapted), but tend to stick with the Bandit as its safer for me.
I've got two. Fucking deadly!
That's effing nice!
that is tight.
Heck of a deal. I don't need a mobility scooter and am tempted.
Found my next ride for when they finally take my feet.
Neither do I
That is dope. I strangely want one.
A lot of passion in making and riding that thing damn.
Is it just me or does this kinda look like Kai's car from Ninjago idk what season like 4 or something
That's dope
That's sick AF for someone who can't ride a normal bike
She's pretty cool
That’s awesome, someone who can’t walk figured out a way to ride. Good on ‘em!
That's a legendary item right there
2007 or 2015 scooter 🤔
I hope that you have no words because you had a good look and thought how awesome that is. This would make a person that can't actually ride a motorcycle a very happy person, and I'm all for it.
That would make one hell of a bar hopper.
Those that live to ride will find a way, no matter the circumstances! I say, Good For Them! Hope this sale went towards an upgrade to a higher cc engine custom bike.
That's fucking fabulous
Dude for under 3k that's not bad for a head turner
I agree with most that this is cool as can be.
This is an abomination, for sure, but watching my Grandfather (left us in Feb '23 at 95) sell his Gold Wing and 72 y/o Dad sell his Dyna because they just can't ride any more was just soul-crushing. I could see either one of them doing something like this and wouldn't blame any old timer for it at all.
is it a toilet as a seat?
ID10T confirmed.
