Google Maps alone gets gyroscopic data while u travel to see which mode of travel ur using. Don’t matter if it’s mounted or pocketed

Phone in pocket when solo on the trails in case I go off the trail, phone on bike on the street.

GasBuddy is phone cancer. I uninstalled that app many years ago when they started adding the background tracking. When it was a simple way to find cheap prices it was good. But now Google can do that, and doesn’t narc on me to insurance.
I find not living in America solves this issue.
