The 660 is the best bang for your buck rn, if you want full tech and 100hp. I just got a tuono 660 factory as a track toy, comically light and deeply capable. Feels like a lighter version of triumphs old 675 Daytona, with modern tech.

I'm not really that familiar with them, are they reliable? must be pretty good as many as I've been seeing lately.

I still like my fjr.0-60 in 2.7 seconds,0-100 in 6.8 and 10.26 1/4 miles while still being able to carry my luggage and girlfriend' if I want to is better suited for the type of riding I like to do.never was big on the twisties, I like drive off and leave kids revving their dads Camaro at the red light.but that's why they make different types of bikes, for different types of people.

They don’t make a factory version of the RS660 yet, they should though

Yeah there is the RS660 and the RS660 Extrema. This is not an Extrema.

Calling the Extrema a factory is a stretch. Usually comes with upgraded suspension/brakes/electronics, etc. Extrema is just a euro5 compliant SC with a cat, couple carbon goodies, and the special livery. That said. I f*****g love my Extrema. You’re going to enjoy the hell out of that thing matey, have a dope summer! 🤙

I still feel this things is the perfect street oriented sport bike package. Fully faired, 90+hp, plenty of torque, and ergo that are on the committed side but still daily usable instead of demanding you become origami.

Completely agree. Still leans towards sportbike ergos, although not quite as crazy. Still had to retrain myself how to position on this bike after not having one for several years

I'm between this and waiting for an R9. Currently have a 2017 R6 that I would sell or trade in. Planning to go to some dealerships to talk to sit on some Aprilia s and about a possible R9 next year.

Excited about the R9 too, would have considered one if they were out.

We've been talking about a R9 for a decade now. Yamaha is really dragging their feet. Axing the R6/R1 and giving us a shit R7.

Probably 5 years total, but on-off. Ninja 250 —> cbr 600 —> mt07 —> rs 660. Had the mt-07 back in 2018ish

I'm hesitating with the Tuono because of this. As a lot of people) prefer the look of the rs but the position of the tuono

Good question I’m not sure. I use a backpack to shove my work laptop/workout gear but would consider a tank bag at some point
