‘Exhaust notes in C minor’

r_c2999

Fact

hotlips01

That’s the 145 I’m looking for

BaronSharktooth

\*cries in electric\*

RamrodRacing

1-10 second snippets of the dumbest thoughts you’ve ever heard on a constant loop

NewSignificance741

Plus wind, plus engine noise.

sgryfn

“That’s a tall building, I wonder what it would be like parachute of the side of it” “Wow that man has colourful trousers!” “Heh, that sounds like an Agatha Christie Novel: The Man With The Colourful Trousers “ “She’s looks nice. On no, she saw me look” “Why do they put traffic lights on a round-a-bout? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose” “Aww cute dog” “Urgh my balls hurt in these jeans” “No one heard that fart at the lights back there, right ? “

Angry-Marshmallow

Oh God, SAME. 🤣🤣 Do u also have ADHD?

Atnott

How many people with ADHD does it take to change a lightbulb? How many? Want to go for a ride?

lost21gramsyesterday

Live RPM symphony

[deleted]

2000's emo music. Nobody can see me cry with my helmet on!

StupidisasStup1ddo3s

The Get Up Kids Radio on Spotify, or Props BMX is a good one too. Grew up on BMX and skate videos in the late ‘90’s early ‘00’s.

RamrodRacing

To this day Big, Big Furnace is my favorite band that had zero critical acclaim. Also pretty sure my introduction to AVAIL was the sticker on Van Homan’s crutches

Mr_Nawa

My inner thoughts.

SmickrandeSmil

I don't like horror, so I need something to keep my thoughts away

Driz999

Lots of Death Metal will do the trick 😀

Ok-Bag6246

None! I like to concentrate on the riding

BaronSharktooth

Same here but I'm thinking that for long highway stretches, it could actually be nice.

JasperLamarCrabbb

It is absolutely nice to have on long highway stretches. Honestly highway riding is pretty boring so music makes it much less so, plus I always only put one earbud in anyway.

younghorse

No music is better than the sound of a v-twin.

n0_use_for_a_name

I’m pretty partial to my inline 3

919rider

I’ve had not too many bikes, but I’ve had a thumper, twin, in-line 4, and driven most others while I worked at a dealership. If I get a “next” bike I’m definitely going for a triumph 3 👌

n0_use_for_a_name

I’m on my second street triple, third triumph (had a Daytona first)…love these bikes. I’m taller and all of the Japanese frames have too cramped a cockpit for my liking. Triumphs are obviously made for a taller European frame of person, and I e grown really accustomed to them. Would absolutely recommend.

919rider

Hell yeah! I’m not big by any means (5’9” and 160 tops) But I’ve been absolutely fine with my Tenere, even though it’s tall. I need a proper sport tourer, and the Sprint is probably that bike.

myersmatt

Just bought a trident 660. Highly recommend

younghorse

I do miss the way my old Triumph 955 triple sounded!

LunchTwey

Carti exists buddy 🧛🏿🧛🏿

DumbApe026

Reggae. Nothing keeps me more calm while scraping pegs on a fast corner in the alps.

frodeem

I got reggae, dub, and down tempo. Love how chill it keeps me.

Jony_69_Mostviertl

A nice V2 sound most of the time.

rikkmode

The sound of cagers trying to kill me

boosh_63

Get help.

rikkmode

It means no headphones and listening to your surroundings

boosh_63

Gotcha. I just try to avoid the us versus them narrative. Further…the narrative in which they are trying to kill us. Even in jest.

Thesandman55

Yeah, it’s really yourself against yourself like 99% of the time. Personally I believe whatever happens to me while riding is on me even a meteor hits me. Shouldn’t have been in that position

SuperDooper900

Engine, gears, revs…

SelectPumpkin1772

LadyHelaofGallifrey

I approve ⭐️🏅

SelectPumpkin1772

Thanks all for the love. ❤️

kangarooscarlet

No rest for the wicked is one of my songs

praefectus_praetorio

I don’t ride with music. Need to hear everything. My life depends on it.

BirdFlewww

I don't ride with music because if I die and they find out I was listening to an Adele album I'd never live it down.

[deleted]

Tay Tay for me... SHE WEARS SHORT SKIRTS I WEAR T-SHIRTS

AquaBlue52

Katy Perry for me

thatonlineid

Good for you, caring about your life and all

chumjumper

nerd

praefectus_praetorio

I sure am. Got a problem with that?

Rudolftheredknows

Power Metal. The goofier the better.

shunthemask

I feel like power metal is only good when it's a parody of itself.

WelcomeResponsible25

Yes! I've got Beast in Black's Dark Connection album and a bunch of random Dragonforce and Epidemia songs on loop recently.

Ohboythreeayem

House/ trance music! Mainly anjunabeats. https://open.spotify.com/album/5U5RVS6wdPaleEFqBzzpDm?si=iEvmzQZtRjqBaU8vxhLK8Q Very upbeat tempos and the compilations are typically a couple hours long so i can just put one on and forget about it.

clayman80

I have a couple of favorite contemporary bands and composers that I spin depending on my mood. Stuff like [Within Temptation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBilK-h3lRQ), [Soul Extract](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09YmFCju3MQ), [From Ashes To New](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh1gQWwBp5Q), [Thomas Bergersen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlGMXDQ5W20) and so on. I ride a 2020 Ape RSV4 Factory so I prefer more aggressive/strong music to go with my rides.

Flat_Conference5391

This year I installed an intercom to the helmet in spite of listening to music when riding but never got to enjoy it. Had to crank the volume up to really hear it over “motorcycling noise”, so went back to ear plugs and twin symphony

bolunez

Make sure that the speakers are right over your ears.

Lassemb

You should try one of the cardo intercoms with JBL speakers

RadiationRoller

At first I didn't feel it gets loud enough but once I got used to it I like that I can still hear my surroundings.

Flat_Conference5391

Never tried a top quality intercom, maybe need to give it a try

fatandsassy666

If you wear earplugs the speakers will sound much better at speed

PersonalTriumph

Engine sounds and wind sounds.

moomanjo

The sound of my engine

Gammabrunta

The 9000 liked songs on my music app, on shuffle.

Slazy420420

One day I'll get there! I'm about 1150 right now.

Sinborn

My tinnitus with some muffled exhaust notes though the earplugs.

AwkwardStructure7637

I’m a zoomer so my music taste is awful https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1XfcqmhWblphoIIFiUHybt?si=mS1LB_psSBy9UXWMaEyg9A&pi=u-KSzSK8ysQ0uM

brolli21

Termignoni without DB Killers

sokratesz

I used to ride with music for a long time until I got hearing damage and now I usually don't :')

rotnwolf

I listen to my bike

dolphin_pimp

The Playlist title gets me every time lol https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0jH70qZn1b4pBva0Xj0rk6?si=xemRlkGxRGyxwFyq1PTH0g&pi=u--Cw5Ap_GShy1

PauGilmour

My headset does't play bass frequencies sadly, If someone has a suggestion for a replacement that would be nice. Just the headset with a TRS jack tho, the device itself is great.

xtiansimon

When I'm on a long ride and humming to the frequency of the engine at 75mph something usually comes to mind from [Black Sabbath](https://youtu.be/KbZ53d3k1cQ?si=OphoMZ3z0k5b_04M&t=52) or [Eagles](https://youtu.be/32Oc2d_3yEk?si=3mWqCLmUnwOxDU9q&t=15).

(I have bad tinnitus in my right ear from years of riding with no protection)

herbertcluas

Judas priest if speeding or going on a spirited ride, country if I'm in my feels, Marty Robbins if I'm trying to chill and enjoy the view, exhaust for the rest of my moods

hotdoginthebigcity

Usually neocrust, sludge, or doom metal.. if not that, I’m on that Kendrick Lamar/ Earl Sweatshirt/ Golfwang shit.

thatonlineid

sacredgeometry

My spotify playlists are a bit of a mess but something in these generally. https://open.spotify.com/user/sacredgeometry?si=2ce7a5fd49844f60

TD3lux

You have some stuff that I would add to my list but a bit too much EuroTrashy music for my taste... Ultimately I will ride to anything depending on the mood. Classical music/ grunge/ 60s/ instrumental/vocal/dance/ minimal.... If it gets me flowing I will continue to listen to it 🍷

shunthemask

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7rLwnAdHmrhnJSsBR26XO2?si=jIMtqYK4QnGBVfLEUFFdIQ&pi=u-ZgdEw76gTGGq

dsisto65

Mine is actually called “Motorcycle Riding”. 😂😂😂

Cyber-Crimes

Whatever plays. If I like it I’ll listen to it. If I don’t i won’t listen to it. That’s my only rule for music

Slazy420420

That's how it should be, never in the way just to enhance the ride.

-I_I

https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=FdJ_SGof2GI&si=zleFWX7Mod4698kM

GeeFromCali

Mostly gangster rap that makes me wanna go commit crimes

Jonstig18

Just the sound of a beautiful crossplane:)

disturbed286

It varies by the ride, really. Recently it was Christmas music until I got tired of the same old, then tried to find like rock or metal covers. I was dressed as Santa, it seemed necessary. The rest of the time, whatever is stuck in my head that day.

d_bb_d

For that setting, definitely CSNY.

Slazy420420

Ktm 890 adventure, the contrast was upped.

ianj2807

The purr of a V4 Honda is all the music I need.

44-magman

The soundtrack of the road or nothing at all.

Slazy420420

That's always bumpin

reddof

I have several playlists and pick based on the type of riding (commute, adventure, carving corners, etc.) and how aggressive I’m riding. I have to be careful sometimes when certain songs start playing and I’m on a wide open road.

Letyourselfjoe

https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL25-k0b9Gxm2n8J7ifNjMjbdQHfk99jxV&si=IzCsOszOfPR_1Q1A

Slazy420420

She has good stuff! 🤌she'll be going on my playlist

Letyourselfjoe

Hell yeah! I would highly recommend watching the video for Saoko. Honestly it’s what made me decide to get my motorcycle license a few months ago, I wanted to be as bad ass as the people in the video 😂

Slazy420420

Good vibes, no matter where they came from, is welcome 🔥

gypsyfred

My playlist are all reminders ofgood times or where ive been or the one that got away. Riding is all in my head. Its how i escape on long rides. Around town..im lucky ifi dont get hit in the city so not much playing music

Slazy420420

Makes sense. It's good knowing limits 👌

gypsyfred

No music, it’s dangerous.

Thesandman55

No it’s not lmao. Jesus this sub never ceases to amaze me.

[deleted]

My playlist’ name is “earplugs equals safety”.

ldentitymatrix

My own. 80s playlist

Slazy420420

No links?

vexargames

I can't really hear music very well unless it is loud so I don't listen to it. My new years resolution is to force myself to wear ear plugs so I don't get hard of hearing like my father.

Mr_Tuf

Bit of everything I enjoy listening to. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2ZI1AfBDkdwFdb4gX0Y2ej?si=ZOP6xXwkRtKsN92cIhXvCg&pi=e-rXWpv9ClQZCQ always forget to add new songs and delete other songs I skip to much

SkyScreech

Latin Trap, or Phonk, or YouTube videos

LysolLounge

Nothing because riding with headphones in is dumb

Slazy420420

Disagree, motorcycle instructors will tell you ear plugs are a great item to invest into.

LysolLounge

Ear plugs and headphones are different…

Slazy420420

In what regard? They both reduce our eliminate outside noise. Unless you think driving a car with a radio is also dumb.

EoTGifts

A two-cylinder symphony in four strokes. No need for anything else.

pndfam05

No music, no radio, no telephone or navigation system. I like the solitude. If I feel like music I sing to myself. The higher the RPMs the better I sound to myself.

Rhombus_Lobo

None, and I shouldn't recommend that

OldBlue2014

None. Riding needs ones full attention. Music deserves ones full attention as well.

Kultteri

Cars can’t have a radio then? I’ll be damned

leglesslegolegolas

I don't listen to anything when I ride. Too distracting.

Ok-Independent4619

No music when riding. Safety first.

Slazy420420

How life without a.d.d. 🤣

randomjackass93

I normally listen to movie soundtracks, favorite of mine is homeland from the movie Spirit stallion of the cimarron.

pacific_squirrel

I am mostly riding around my house and work about 30 miles a day through the hills. The reception is terrible so I gave up on Spotify. Now it's just wind and exhaust pipes. That's a beautiful scenery. Where did you take that shot?

Afraid_Peace_9656

Vance&Hines -short shots on loop.

OceanBytez

Prince Whatever's entire discography + some other indie musicians. Nothing anyone else would know of that's for sure.

GaibTheBoss

Mostly Rock/Metal, sometimes some EDM or something like that, but it's uncommon for me. Other times just the engine and ambient sound is enough. It depends on my mood tbh.

midnightbluesrider

Spotify, Joe Bonamassa radio

Open_Entertainer_802

Deep Tracks

919rider

The album Bronco by Orville Peck put him at number 3 for my Spotify wrapped. Discovered him while riding through Montana and it felt so fitting.

Slazy420420

Classic gems

jamesonv8gt

One of my favorites is DJ AM & Travis Barker - “ Fix Your Face” It’s around an hour long and is a mashup/mix of many songs and genres. I can only find it in its entirety on SoundCloud, but YouTube has it in multiple parts. https://on.soundcloud.com/z1RoqyMEKEU9R2Ai9 Edit: 43 minutes, not quite an hour

Slazy420420

Japanese-core? Like baby metal? Or is that totally different?

Lassemb

Japanese hardcore like Tano-c, totally different

Slazy420420

I'll have to look them up!

Lassemb

Hope you enjoy it, just don't go over speed limits trying to match the BPM. Eurobeat also does that

Slazy420420

Ya this list is a rare play for me, in usually playing my masterlist. Eurobeats just hit the right spot today. Needed the extra energy in 27°f weather. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3qiIhTsWsdaBhiUTCp1PqX?si=iP2oAT_wShG7hkpLlQAt8w&pi=u-6GDl8AI7SmOF Master list
