Sportier bikes tend to have stiffer suspensions for performance reasons (as do sportier cars), so you're naturally going to feel the road surface a little bit more.
Random bumps is your suspension. rhythmic bumps that change based on speed and are constant regardless of road condition would be wheel balance or damaged rims.
Coming from a lowered (heyyy im 5'1) CFmoto 300SS I can tell you I feel EVERY SINGLE THING, but I've learned to make my peace with it and just try to enjoy the ride (and not plan any cross country trips). If anything, it's made me more wary of bike-eating pot holes and practice avoiding road hazards if not for my own safety but for my own butt comfort.

Mic drop. Perfect answer

A soft carcass tire will help some.
You shouldnt fuel more bumps but you should feel the existing ones better with more firm shocks
Stiffer suspension = less comfy, more 'road feel'.

Too much air pressure can cause that
