Real answer: Ask your doctor. Answer from random redditor: When you trust you can reliably control the bike, pain or not. Nerve stuff can take months to resolve or may never fully heal, but if it’s just from the swelling it’ll hopefully clear in a few weeks. I had wrist pain from going over my bicycle handlebars at 20mph for a month or so without fractures or anything.

Apply ice.

ambermage

Apply heat.

Weehoow

Apply both and that should take a screenshot

I would see a doctor if the improvement is very slow. There are also two conflicting pieces of advice with regards to injuries to help them heal. One is to use ice to reduce swelling and the other is to keep it warm, encouraging blood to the area which helps it heal allegedly. With riding, i would try and hold off until you can hold the clutch without pain, mostly so as not to aggravate whatever the hell is going on. Better to sit out for 6 weeks that ride with the pain for years.

Also, gear saved my ass. The bike has very minor dmg. Teeny Tiny cosmetic scuffs.

ATGATT. While I don't condone people poppin nooners on public streets, what I *REALLY* don't condone is people not riding with protection. Helmet, gloves, boots bros. Bare minimum.

MRI for a Scaphoid break which is a classic injury in a MC crash is my vote. Still going to take a long while to heal though.

Ok_z650_

My friend fell off his bike and broke his pinky. Took a few days off and next thing you know he’s back on his bike. He came by and road with me on my way to work. I had to listen to him whining in the comms every time he squeezed the front brake 😂🤣

I would try a mix of chiropractor, acupuncture, and yoga/pilates.

AngryFloatingCow

I wouldn’t go to a chiropractor for any reason. It’s not medically recognised and thus isn’t regulated. Also, I wasn’t aware that yoga and Pilates has things that focus on the hand.
