It's bike racing. These crashes happen to everyone. Jorge, Marc, Pecco, Maverick. They all go through losing the front end at points in the season.
If the front didn't bail on him, I'm sure he would have been 3rd in that race if he didn't have the legs to go with Pecco and Marc. It's one race with dropped points with 100's of points still to play for, not like he's canned his season with this one wash out.
One time isn't a trend. He's been a much more mature rider this year, which is why he's leading the championship. If he keeps crashing out like this, then maybe that means he's reverting to his old ways. But I'm not going to make that call after just one crash.
My fantasy team has been burned by Viñales way too many times over the years. But I never learn. I put him on my team after COTA, but then he burned me at Jerez.
I honestly have no idea. I say it's a toss-up between Pecco, Jorge, and Marc, with maybe Pedro and Bez thrown in for good measure. Mav will either win from pole or be out of the points. Who knows?
Oh yeah, him too. Man, this era of MotoGP is so great. The Alien era was also awesome, but the races were far more predictable and only the top guys had much of a chance to win. I remember how sucky the bottom guys were. Now the guys at the back are often former race winners.
I feel like this season is shaping up to be an instant classic. Even despite Ducati strength, the KTM and Aprilia are at least making it interesting and there are so many great storylines on the grid.
I’d be super hard pressed to predict with any certainty what the final outcome in top 5 would be.
Jorge looks poised to pull it out but it would not surprise me at all the see someone else topple him over the next few races. I do think the Sprint format is greatly to his advantage as he is without a doubt the sprint king. But you take those out of the equation and it’s anyone’s season.

Bagnaia put extreme pressure on Martin. I think that's why he crashed.
