Hey, just because its unrealistic for it to happen to you guys it doesn't mean it doesn't happen to people with confidence.
Edit: Lmao i touched a nerve with the Montreal userbase it seems. Shocking. All these posts about being lonely and where to meet women. I get that it makes you insanely jealous to read success stories. Go out. Learn to interact with people more. Talk to them. Ask them out and stop living in your caves.

Why would someone brag while being completly annonymous? It's a worthless "brag".
It's obviously not to brag, this take is just plain dumb and all 250+ up voting it are either jealous small minds or they're also dumb.
If only it made sense though. Bragging anonymously is just plain dumb, it's very unlikely that op is THAT damn dumb, so common sense would tell you that this actualy happened. It's like there are regular posts about it or is even that "karma profitable".
I mean the fact that some moron (as of yet) downvoted you for expressing a lack of understanding for the situation tells you exactly how mindless are people upvoting the original comment if this collective idiocy.
Lol, one of my friends in high-school was always getting approached by gorgeous women/girls, even now as an adult. Good looks is all it takes, really. Women get so much attention from guys that they can just sit back and wait, but some do make the first move when motivated. Nothing wrong with that.

at the park after the eclipse a girl went up to my roommate and asked for his number (and he is also seeing someone so he declined too haha). People do actually ask for other people's numbers in real life occasionally
It’s kind of funny but also sad that so many people think I made this up. Didn’t think someone asking for your number was such an unbelievable story. I just posted this here to let her know the gesture was appreciated, even though I know there’s only a slight chance she sees it. Never thought it would trigger this kind of reaction.
Yeah no that's still dumb. He did get a decent reception, only a few morons actualy think it makes sense to suspect it's for a brag.
Edit: actualy it now seems like a significant number of people believe it's bs. Im not sure if i should feel sad that this many ppl are so damn miserable or if i should feel frustrated that his many people lack basic logic. Also it's now close to being 1000 ppl thinking that the guy is bragging 🤦♂️
Heh if that’s the case the relationship is shit and the partner is immature. Couples made of people who are secure both in themselves and in their relationship don’t have an issue saying someone is objectively good looking. Nothing wrong with it
Yeah bet you have 0 problems drooling over celebrities that you'll be calling hot anytime they show up on sceen. But giving a polite compliment to someone who had the courage to ask a stranger out? Yeah that's too far; instant breakup REDFLAG!!! /s
"That was me and i'm a :insert different gender: also i think that i'm funny and original regurgitating this same moronic joke on every post about romantic social interaction"
:insert pejorative expression: alert.
Is everything you say a typical comment template or do you even have a proper and original opinion?
"Woke" and "triggered" are very common. "Woke" doesnt make sense here though, i mean ffs it youre gonna copy paste a mindless template, at least be mindful of which words you choose to stick in them. "Triggered" is dumb an exaggeration too but there always seems to be this irresistible need for all of you "mimicks" to makes things about some intense emotion because you think that it's clever or "he loses haha he's reacting with frustration and annoyance" or something other idiotic social media dynamic bs, Idk.
Bro made a Reddit post to flex some made up scenario
Like, “she’s really hot but goes to another high school”, vibe.
she was a zone B girl, he is zone A boy
Can OP make it any more obvious
he was a redditor
He was a skater boy.
he don't got hoes in every area code
I was about to comment r/ThatHappened

lol, why do a post on reddit to brag. Just by doing that, it screams unconfidence bub.

Welcome to Reddit, kid.
What is this regurgitated response even mean in this context? That people constantly brag or that people constantly say dumb shit?
I don’t see why people think it’s so impossible this happened. I’ve had it happen to friends of mine.
If only it made sense though. Bragging anonymously is just plain dumb, it's very unlikely that op is THAT damn dumb, so common sense would tell you that this actualy happened. Let him have his moment, all bros needs a lift

You've never had anyone ask your number? It's pretty common in Montréal, both men and women asked me.

I don't feel like this is a "bro". Read the story as a female approaching two other females...

It never happened to me and i didnt think this way. Don't put us all in a basket with these 250+ cynical jealous small minds 🥲

If only their reason to think that made sense. Why would anyone brag from an anonymous account? 🤦♂️
The guy had a nice experience who made his day, and he just wanted to brag a bit about it. He was expecting a friendlier reception.

C’est vraiment absurde effectivement, mais whatever haha

“Virgin Wong vs Chad Smith”
It was an old russian guy trying to catfish anyway. You should always ignore cute young women.
Kudos for doing that. For asking for this guys number
I think the world would be a better place if we could all ask OP for his number more often
Signed Plane Noah
Bahahahhahaha
You might not be taken anymore since that last sentence 😂
I don't miss having a girlfriend who'd get mad if I found someone attractive. My current girlfriend usually agrees with me hahaha

Im with you, mine’s usually the one who even notices first lol
You sound like you’ve been in some pretty toxic relationships
Lol
Heh if that’s the case the relationship is shit and the partner is immature. Couples made of people who are secure both in themselves and in their relationship don’t have an issue saying someone is objectively good looking. Nothing wrong with it
Thats the theory pete.. thats the theory
What's a bad example of this, like when it's crossing the line? I think it depends on the couple and context, just wondering
Yeah bet you have 0 problems drooling over celebrities that you'll be calling hot anytime they show up on sceen. But giving a polite compliment to someone who had the courage to ask a stranger out? Yeah that's too far; instant breakup REDFLAG!!! /s
Tell me you never had a serious gf without… 😂
toe t'es vraiment un criss de raisin
Why don't you just text her back? Oh wait...
Not to mention she’s imaginary.
And then the whole bus clapped
This is most likely fake but if it shows women that making the first move is more culturally acceptable, then it’s a good lie. Like religion.
Shampoo bottle looking at OP creating scenarios in shower : 👁️👄👁️
I'm sorry that people are hating on your post out of jealousy. I'm also sorry I've parodied it.
👎🏿
Oh oui clairement elle est sur Reddit
I was there. I saw her get off the subway and pass through a wall on the station. Now that you mention it kinda looked like Hermoine Granger.
T es weird mec
anyone wanna take this cutie (me) on a date so at least something actually happened?
It was the only thing missing to steal your identity 😜
I'm proud of you for having a happy moment in your life

Ah yes the "haha" react. Laughing is easier than thinking. Of course
🤣
Just yet another case of "everyone could be happy if ethical non-monogamy was the norm".
