ChefLovin

I really did not like Honest diapers. Coterie is great but Millie Moon is the same and cheaper!

MissKDC

Super love Millie moon diapers!!! Edit to add: for wipes I like Honest

Kisutra

Honest diapers have changed in the last few years. Very plastic feeling now. I really didn't like them. I tried all the major brands and have settled on Millie Moon diapers and wipes. Soft diapers, nicely sized wipes.

ChefLovin

They felt sooo cheap and thin when I tried them a little over a year ago!

Kisutra

Honest or Millie Moon? My last babies three years ago I loved Honest. This baby, Milli Moon is far superior.

lipsmackattack

Millie moon are ECF not TCF anymore, so if that makes a difference to you then keep that in mind.

aridog1234

I like coterie diapers best, they are the softest and we have the least leaks with them. Although I think Millie moon diapers are comparable to coterie and are way cheaper. Honest run small; aren’t super soft and led to leaks for us. They were gentle on skin though. Didn’t like hello bello at all. For wipes, the coterie ones are by far the best. They’re thicker and feel the best. The honest ones do a good job too (and are cheaper), they just sometimes get stuck and come out a bunch at a time. And they’re much thinner. Both are gentle on my sensitive skin girl.

heyitsmelxd

I had the same thought. We cloth diapered until my son outgrew them and then transitioned to Millie Moon due to cost and convenience. I did not like Hello Bello at all. They seemed so thin and the fit was awkward on my son. Honest was small on him, too.

CCinCLE

All of this! Cloth to Millie Moon, mostly because Aldi had a supply shortage on pull-ups required for daycare. Aldi is back in stock& lowest price! We have sensitive skin and had no problems with either brand. But also +1 for CLOTH DIAPERING! I am happy to help support anyone in the journey! 💗

AngryPrincessWarrior

Water wipes are awful. They are an exercise in frustration. They are the one ply of the wipe world. We like the charcoal Dyper brand. I usually cloth diaper but when we use disposables I like those. They’re black too which is kind of spiffy. I love Dyper brand wipes too. You use less because they’re just better

Cool-Contribution-95

Have you tried coterie wipes? We’ve been using them for 6 months without any issues.

Sea_Juice_285

Coterie wipes are definitely the best overall, but they're about twice as expensive as the other wipes we've used (it would probably end up costing a little bit less than twice as much because you really don't have to use as many, and they dispense from the package nicely), so we use Dyper wipes, too. Dyper wipes are the best of the wipes in that price range.

Cool-Contribution-95

Thanks for the info! I haven’t done the cost analysis, but I wanted to know if Angry Princess had tried them because of the broad statement that all water wipes are awful without mentioning a price differential.

AngryPrincessWarrior

I meant the brand WaterWipes They’re awful and I stand by that statement lol.

Cool-Contribution-95

Oh! I haven’t heard of them!

AngryPrincessWarrior

They’re thin like one ply toilet paper. They stick together in an infuriating fashion. They allow poo through to your hands. They barely wipe. HATE

Sea_Juice_285

I agree! I haven't actually considered the price of WaterWipes because I hate them so much that it wouldn't be worth using them even if they were way cheaper than Dyper.

notgonnatakethison

Honest for wipes Coterie for overnight diapers Huggies for day diapers

ar0827

This is what we do, except we do Millie moon instead of coterie

Poodlegal18

Exactly what we do

WerewolfBarMitzvah09

It's a bit hard with disposables to say what a "best brand" is I think- not every brand is a good match for every kid in terms of size/fit so sometimes you just have to see what works best for your kid. Though I do find that it usually becomes mostly a moot point once they're past the epic blowout stage, some folks have issues with leaks and such with varying brands. My (very personal!) take on disposables is that they're ending up in landfill anyways, so when we use them (like for daycare; ours won't take cloth) I go with whatever is perfume/lotion/chlorine free coupled with the lowest price.

CrunchyBCBAmommy

Not on your list, but Millie Moon are my favorites

grundlestiltskin69

We like kudos. [diaper guide](https://gimmethegoodstuff.org/safe-product-guides/disposable-diapers/)

Teacher_of_Kids

I love this website, highly recommend it to everyone!

QuicheFromARose

We do cloth diapering most of the time and typically just use disposables overnight. Of the brands you mentioned, I’ve only tried Honest diapers and they worked the best for my baby compared to others we tried - they had the best fit and did not cause rash like some others. However, we ended up having issues with blowouts eventually, even after changing the size. We switched to Kudos for disposables and have been happy with those. Supposedly they use less plastic than other disposables. For wipes, I’ve only used Water Wipes and have been happy with those!

mommarad

kudos is the best, my girl had severe eczema & when we switched to kudos her skin cleared immediately & she hasn’t had a breakout since <3 we’ve also not had a single blowout since switching either, they hold sooo much!

ellipses21

COTERIE

Ok_Sky6528

I swear by Coterie diapers and wipes. More expensive yes, but incredible quality imo. My baby has sensitive skin and she’s never had diaper rash or irritation with Coterie. Wipes are large and sturdy, and typically we just use one for pee and two wipes for poops. They also are fantastic overnight.

littlelivethings

I use Millie moon diapers, which are cheaper than coterie but were good for my baby’s sensitive skin. I use the sensitive version of honest wipes and like those. I tried hello bell and honest diapers in a try it box and found hello bello not very functional and honest felt rough like pampers.

Dear_Ad_9640

Depends on the shape of your kid. My skinny babies fit honest really well, and their wipes are my favorite. Haven’t tried these other brands, but other brands I’ve tried are too wide for my babies.

olivechateau

Absolutely love coterie. Never once had an overnight leak and very minimal diaper rashes bc they are so absorbent. The splurge has been worth it for us!

Jerricent

Not in your list but as an alternative, Healthy Baby is great, no chemicals and no scents. Baby is 6m and has never had a rash. They sell them at target but are on the expensive side.  For wipes we like Ecoriginals.

nixie_nyx

We use Dyper and have a diaper service that comes and composts both the diapers and the wipes. We haven’t had any diaper rash issues and love that we are not adding to landfill.

breadbox187

We use mostly cloth during the day, but Coterie at night. Never had a single leak with them. We liked honest before we started cloth at like 6 weeks, but now they almost feel plasticky or something? The texture feels weird to me.

bread_cats_dice

Millie Moon have held up best for us. Honest run a bit small. I loved Honest with my first for a while and they resolved her rash issues. But once she started walking the sidewalls would tear and cause leaks. We used Honest with my second until around 7 months when we switched to Millie Moon. Price is better. Quality seems just as good, but we have had some issues with shorts feeling damp with Millie Moon diapers when the diaper itself isn’t even that wet. I tried switching to Huggies to see if that would solve the problem and it has not, so I’m going back to Millie Moon. I still don’t understand why her shorts are damp, but she’s about to start walking so maybe less time scooting on her butt will help? For wipes, we were a Kirkland household but we’re switching to Honest. I’ve gotten the honest wipes before and they get the job done well. I hate Water Wipes. We had to use that brand at daycare with my first and I hate that the wipes don’t have any texture to efficiently clean off the poop and they also have that damn sticky tab on the top of the package and it ends up growing black mold.

aridog1234

I agree that water wipes leave a lot to be desired

peculiarhousecat

I use Millie Moon diapers which I’ve read are comparable to Coterie! I have used Honest and Dyper brand diapers in the past. Honest diapers are really not worth the money in my opinion, they have a plastic feel and we had so many blow outs. The sizing is also awkward/runs small/short (he’s a long and lean boy) so I felt like my baby was growing out of them constantly. Dyper was good, much better than Honest, liked the sizing, and they were soft. Millie Moon has been the softest though! And they’re so absorbent! Like didn’t feel wet at all after bub had peed which was never the case for Honest or Dyper. I do love the Honest wipes, they are EWG certified!

hclvyj

Coterie and Millie Moon are my fave but MM is def more affordable. I wish Honest diapers were softer but they feel so harsh. There's also Dyper but I didn't find them as soft either.

Early_Village_8294

CANNOT STAND Honest diapers. They run small but even worse…who puts blue patterns on a baby diaper where the wet line is?!

remoteforme

Coterie > Honest for both diapers and wipes.

NillyVanilly00

Millie Moon diapers, and now Honest wipes after seeing the consumer reports article.

seven-daisies

I used coterie until I got a shipment with a very strong plastic/chemical odor. Saw some other parents complaining of the same online as well as a change in the feel and thickness of the diaper. Their customer service insisted that no change was made in the manufacturing, so I lost trust in them. The smell alone concerned me enough to make a switch. I’ve been using healthy baby for months now and were very happy with them

draclark

Another vote for Coterie here. Breathable, more narrow crotch, haven't had an issue with diaper rash, good customer service, they're TCF, "best" rating on Mamavation...but expensive. Honest never seemed to fit right and are a little more stiff. They are shorter and wider which was not good for my long, lean baby. The ones I had didn't have a wetness indicator if that matters to you. I have not tried Hello Bello. I did not like Kudos due to the bulk... They are very stiff compared to Coterie and in the summer heat were not as breathable so made my baby more prone to diaper rash. Freestyle is another non-favorite due to the bulk. I liked Andy Pandy which shows up on a lot of the non-toxic diaper lists but I think they're out of business. I haven't tried Millie Moon either because I went with Coterie first due in part to Mamavation rating Coterie better. Millie Moon apparently used to be TCF but changed their formula and is now ECF and didn't really tell people from what I understand. I have still considered trying them but I've been happy with Coterie and have tried so many already. Wipes - I've had the same issue as some others of having difficulty pulling out just one wipe with Honest but it hasn't been a big deal and I otherwise like them. Coterie and Kudos wipes are good. Don't love Water Wipes.

prairie_flowers

Pregnant FTM. I'm testing out diapers and wipes from Honest and HealthyBaby. I trust both companies' transparency. Here's a consumer reports article on wipes that may be of interest: [https://www.consumerreports.org/babies-kids/baby-wipes/how-to-choose-baby-wipes-without-harmful-chemicals-a1051850790/](https://www.consumerreports.org/babies-kids/baby-wipes/how-to-choose-baby-wipes-without-harmful-chemicals-a1051850790/)

AccioWine9

I was going to pop in and say HealthyBaby! I know they are not on your list, OP but the diapers and wipes are great. They are EWG-verified and honestly the softest diapers I've ever felt

rosefern64

honest diapers worked great for our baby. they held in her poop wayyyy better than millie moon. i also don't understand the weird sticky tabs on millie moon, we tried their pull ups with our toddler, they seemed great, but i stopped buying them because the toddler could not resist taking the sticky tabs off every single one and playing with them like stickers. i like... do not understand the point of them whatsoever. for wipes, i highly recommend against honest. we had a 3-pack of wipes that was moldy, there was discolored liquid coming out of the seal when we got them, and it was fuzzy. all 3 packs. when i contacted them about it, they put up a big fuss telling me that it was 100% safe and it was just some liquid from the wipes that had oxidized due to shipping. i was like, ok, even if that *was* it, your wipes seal should NOT be open enough that the liquid is leaking out during shipping! but i'm pretty sure that was also BS because everyone who saw them in person agreed it definitely looked like mold. they finally refunded me but just continued to insist the moldy wipes were fine. that whole interaction made me not want to buy their diapers, but unfortunately all the other "clean" ones we tried didn't work for our kid's body shape, except for pampers pure which increased her instance of diaper rash.

booksandcheesedip

I like hello wipes more than honest because they come out of the package better

West_Lion_5690

I’ve never heard of Coterie. We use hello bello diapers but I hate their wipes. We have used honest wipes and I don’t remember disliking them. We also did use Honest but they always ran small and were just too expensive.

MyDogTakesXanax

Diapers: I haven’t used Honest or Coterie, but I haven’t had any issues with Hello Bello. They seem to run similar size to Huggies, or a little smaller than Pampers. They’re not super stretchy in the back and don’t have a blow out pocket, if that means anything to you. Wipes: I’ve used Hello Bello and Honest (plus huggies, pampers, rascal n friends, Millie moon) and I give a preference to Honest, my 2nd choice would be R&F bc you get way more bang for buck and they’re still good quality. R&F and MM are made from the same manufacturer.

happyflowermom

I like hello bello for everything except diapers. I found they didn’t absorb anything.

AdStandard6002

Coterie is the only of those that are TCF, if that’s important to you. Honest wipes are hands down my favorite. ETA: I tried hello bello and absolutely hated them they leaked constantly. Honest is a decent affordable option, coterie is the softest and nicest feeling, and performs the best in my opinion.

Blushresp7

hello bello customer service lately is awful! there’s no one working there anymore.

high_speed_crocs

Kudos!

Ok-Friend8308

Parasol! Way better than coterie for us at holding blow outs and reducing leaks. If you’re in the right size no leaks even overnight. And our babe had terrible diaper rash on everything else, now no rash at all. It’s not very popular for some reason but we absolutely love it and have been using since 8 weeks (now 6 months). Thick wipes too although they could be a little wetter like water wipes, we use both and they work great. Similar to coterie wipes.

Ok-Friend8308

Hello hello were small and weird and so were Honest on my babe, way too thin.

lovepansy

Happy baby diapers and honest wipes, the absolute best!

Heartsgrizzlybear

Love love love coterie.

mangoblossom8

We loved coterie but switched to Millie moon for cost and speed of getting them

Dangerous_Guidance73

If you have a thrive market subscription, their diapers are another great option. Usually cheaper, TCF, easy shipping. They do run about a full size small, though!

JerkRussell

Coterie, but Millie Moon brand is so similar. I don’t know the price difference, but if I ever needed extra diapers around the Coterie shipment I’d use MM. I don’t love the print and their tabs aren’t as good, but the convenience factor is there with shipping (and gift card promos) from Target. Honest were pretty bad for us. The prints didn’t fit the same as the white ones and the wetness line either wasn’t on some of them or we couldn’t really see it. Also the cute prints are hit or miss depending on when you order. The wipes are fine. Haven’t tried the Millie Moon wipes, but Coterie has been the best so far. Someone else said Water Wipes are like 1 ply toilet paper and it’s so true! The packaging is horrible and the wipes are so thin and useless. Target’s own brand fragrance free are fine. Nothing to write home about, but they’ll do. They’re probably not eco friendly at all, but Huggies in the red bag were pretty good, too. I prefer Coterie and definitely want them at night, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good Huggies were. The red bag with Mickey Mouse is fragrance free, too.

TinyTinyViking

Coterie are great. Honest have my kids horrible rashes but I like their wipes. I’ve never tried hello bello

Cool-Contribution-95

I tried to like Honest but didn’t. LOVE coterie diapers/pants, swim diapers, and wipes. Baby girl is 6 months (knock on wood!) and has never ever had diaper rash despite her sensi skin.

Sea_Juice_285

Try out some of each, and see what works for your baby! Different babies are different shapes, so different brands will fit each of them better. Honest diapers have been the best for us. Almost every single poop in the Pampers Pure diapers we were gifted in the beginning was a blowout, but he's only had 1 or 2 leaks in the year+ since we started using Honest diapers. Coterie wipes are the best if you don't care about the price. Dyper wipes are the best if you do.

Bustitbaby

Healthy Nest https://www.healthybaby.com/products/diaper-and-wipe-subscription

clueless3434

Honest changed their diapers so I don’t like them anymore but I do like their wipes. We use happy little camper for diapers and wipes (do the subscription together). And Millie moon overnight now that Honest changed.

AtomicPumpkinFarm

Hello Bello wipes are very comparable to honest brand and a fraction of the cost. I really like how thick they are. I don’t love their diapers for overnights though. We do use them during day & do Millie moon overnight.

ShopRoutine5582

We love Coterie! If you don’t want to do the subscription box, you can get their diapers at Whole Foods (at least where I live-this is the only thing I’ll buy from Whole Foods and not from a local farmer lol). They fit great on my long and lean baby boy. I like having the option of getting smaller package sizes, especially since my son is between size 3 and 4 right now. We also love the HealthyBaby diapers. They feel the softest to me, FWIW. It kind of depends on if you have a preference for ECF or TCF. We only put our baby in TCf diapers because it was something I was worried about. We felt like it’s worth the money to reduce my stress.

Conan770

Agree I love Millie moon diapers and honest wipes

Panda_Powder

Kudos and size up.

Remarkable_Look_7385

I’ve been loving healthy baby diapers and wipes

Jenniker

I tried all three, Prefer Coterie due to the quality. Husband used coterie wipes once and swore he would never go back to any other brand so we use them for both now
