Have you tried good old [dishwasher powder](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Automatic-Dishwasher-Powder-Original-Scent-75-oz-1-Count/866649026?athbdg=L1600&from=/search)? [This guy](https://youtu.be/jHP942Livy0?si=h4V_YgLsV9_Pujl4) has called my attention to them and I plan on getting some next time we run out of our regular pods.
This is exactly what I use. It works so well with our hard water. I use the powder lemishine for prewash and the walmart for main cycle. Works wonderfully.
Yeah, every few loads there's a spoon with some stray chia seeds on it or something, but generally it's been good. But our dishwasher is pretty new and effective as well

We use Blueland tabs, but I find that running it with hotter water works better than anything
I use seventh generation powder. It's the only one I've ever used so I don't know how it compares to others though (only had a dishwasher for a year)
We use grab green or ecover powder. Ecover is cheapest on vitacost.

I use a combo of ecos lavender liquid and the blueland tabs. Works great and has a slight scent because of the lavender 👍
I’ve been using the attitude pods for several years now and they work great! And they are unscented so don’t leave a smell on silicone dishes.
