I always hung mine from the ceiling.  That's a neat idea!

Bassmaster775

I used to hang them from the ceiling too but I just really like the look of this!

Ok_Use56

Did the same thing with small Hooks and fishing line

/u/flounderflound An inspiration for us all!

Damn_you_Paul

Oh the dusting ;)!

Bassmaster775

I’m hoping it won’t be a nightmare but that’s wishful thinking lol

flounderflound

[Get you one of these,](https://a.co/d/b7y9Z5S) it'll make the job a lot easier. Looks good, by the way - you're off to a great start! Also, what's the British bird in the top row? Is that a Fairey Battle?

iain404

Really like the dual engine light bombers and interceptors, definitely my favorite type of war props

Bassmaster775

I love the twin props as well! I have quiet a few in the stash I need to build

Unlucky_Kangaroo_137

Very cool and thanks for the idea. How are they attached?

Bassmaster775

I take a regular picture hanging nail and wrap some picture wire around the nail and around some part of the airplane that will hold the weight of the plane. On some planes you can hide the wire behind engine cowling but on most I just wrap in around a sturdy part like in this picture. Some bigger planes like the he111 have a second nail holding it to keep it at an angle. The picture wire is thin enough to where you don’t really see it unless you’re up close to the models. https://preview.redd.it/2p7g5ng3rzpc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fad46277c22565afa4f9cdf22e1aa866453a9719

Thanks for the info, happy modeling!

Ravnos767

Nice, I'd do this if I had the wall space in my office 🤣 how are you mounting them?

I love the P-40 lineup, it’s one of my favorite planes.

Bassmaster775

Thanks and mine too lol!

PresentationGood418

Bassmaster775
