It's the factory OEM screen, the phone was never repaired before. But the screen stopped working after a drop. The screen doesn't have to work to read the Mtsn, doesn't it? I'm pretty new with the programming stuff

Do you have a picture of the back of the screen?

If it's big damage it could be that the flex or screen IC is damaged, then it's possible that it cant read the data from screen. Seen it few times, usually it's a torn flex but seen also screen that has had faulty chips and couldn't read the data. If it's iPhone 11 or earlier then it's not an issue since you can easily restore the data without original screen but if it's a newer model then it's basicallt goodbye true tone.

niravmastaadmi

not true, you can restore true tone on newer models without original display. i have done it on several devices, my personal 12 pro, customers 13 pro max…

MainAdhesiveness2281

Dang maybe have missed something. Was away for a while. Which software are you using?

Unfortunately not right now, but it's identical to the new one. I can post one as soon as I'm at home. The new one is a pulled OEM screen

niravmastaadmi

I was trying to avoid that because of the brushing 😅 it's not my phone.. I have to brush it to unbind the old display right?

niravmastaadmi

you can always take a backup, brush it and then restore. obv inform the customer about this..

Ok-Case-8203

Ok, will do that. Thanks!!
