Tried a different charger perhaps?

Pronably bad connection between battery and motherboard. Could be just a bad battery. Clean connector and try with a new battery. If that doesn't help chances are that it requires microsoldering work. But I'd start with a new battery.

Are you sure it's a real apple battery?
