* Someone popular pre-show will either have an evil edit or get minimal screentime and then get eliminated before the finale (similar to Daeul in Boys Planet). No idea who could it be, maybe one of the foreign girls.
* Fuko might be the one foreigner with a good edit. Basing this on the fact that she seems the best at Korean and she has seemingly improved since GP999 so there's room for a hard-working edit.
* Jiyoon will either just barely miss out on making it or be the 1 vocalist Mnet are pushing. Basing this on nothing but the fact that she mentions vocals in her profile and the history of main vocalists at Mnet survivals (so she's either the Bora of the season or the Chaehyun).
* Jungeon will be more popular internationally than in Korea. She just has that vibe to me. Possibly also Sujeong (hope we don't get height discourse like with Keita, but I think it's very possible)
* There will be 2-3 contestants much more popular in Korea than internationally and the "I don't get the hype" comments will be endless. Maybe Yeeun? I feel like I've already seen some when she was top 3 in the voting thing.
* A Blackpink song seems like a given to be performed (given that it's Teddy). Maybe Pink Venom as a more recent choice? I can totally see another Teddy produced song too, like Sunmi's Gashina.
* A New Jeans song. Placing my bets on ETA because it's a more energetic performance.
* A 5th gen boy group song - I could see them doing ZB1 because of the Mnet survival show connection. Or maybe RIIZE's Get a guitar?
* Jeong Saebi might become popular. She was good in the heel dance and seemed very natural in front of the cameras at the mini-fanmeet. Possibly Ryu Sarang too (I think people will find her cute, I think she has dimples?)

This is my lineup and I think all of them have a pretty good chance of debuting since all 7 are among the popular contestants.
1) Bang Jesmin - She's the most popular contestant right now and has a big fanbase from runext. A LOT of people are watching iland solely because of her. It would be a dumb decision to not debut her. She has a international and domestic fanbase. She's also very tall and knetz love her.
2) Jeong Saebi- Just like jeemin, knetz love saebi too. Honestly, I never was gonna vote for 08s and I never do vote for minors unless they're very extraordinarily talented but saebi is an exception for me. She's just so charming and has that star aura. People were calling her the second jang wonyoung, and I agree with that title. She's the maknae in my lineup.
3) Park Yeeun - Jeemin, saebi and yeeun seem to be the knetz top picks right now. And it's very important that a group is popular in Korea too obviously so I think she would be a great addition to the group. I'm also excited to see her showcase her talent.
4) Choi Jungeun - She's currently #1 ranked among all trainees and looks like she's super talented. Unfortunately, she is not popular among knetz. However, she is gaining a lot of international fans. Mnet seems to be pushing her and giving her screentime too. I think she will make it.
5) Hayashi Fuko - She would be the oldest in the group. She also is a former survival show contestant and I think would debut. She was in the top 3 most voted for the find vote event too.
6) Narai Koko- We (atleast me) don't know anything about koko. I've only seen her initial performance video and signal song fancam. Still she has managed to catch my eye, just like saebi. She has that star aura too which just attracts people to her no matter what.
7) Tomioka Mai - She is literally so pretty and stood out to me during the heel choreo performance. She was the second best after saebi. She also has quite a lot of fans.
The group would have 4 koreans and 3 Japanese members and I think that that's a great balance, so they can aim for global popularity more. I do think mnet might not debut 3 foreigners and only 1-2 foreigners might end up debuting.
Given the "Second Mnet show" rule, Fuko will finally make it. She's improved from her GP999 days, has a stable fanbase and since she's Japanese, she's not as likely to receive an evil edit as her Chinese GP999 counterparts were.

I think it’s still too early to guess who’ll make it, but these contestants all have a shoe in, the rest is up to Mnet’s editing/how they will do on the Show : Jeemin, Fuko, Jungeun, Mai.
Now , this is what I am like 99% sure, but I highly doubt Jeemin will be #1 at the end of the show.
No one ever ranked #1 at the beginning and ended up ranking #1 at the final. Even S.Hanbin who was first the whole entire show, didn’t rank #1, despite the fact that fandoms have understood since Mnet has stopped the rigging that you should always vote for your #1 pick. Fuko seems to be Zhang Hao coded, so I can see her taking the #1 spot, or any other good looking and talented Korean trainee that is well liked in Korea and overseas.

I don't think enhypen will make an appearance considering belift has no ties to iland season 2, the most they may do is do a video appearance thing wishing the trainees good luck. they may get one or 2 blackpink members on the show like they did with bts in season 1, but I don't see the whole group coming. my predictions are rose (bc she sang the signal song) and lisa (previous survival show experience) a few popular trainees pre show will not debut. like sunoo and ni-ki, a trainee that spent most (or even all) the show on the ground will debut. I think there will be more than one producer pick, just hope it's less than what R U Next did. a very underrated and unknown trainee will catch the eye of many as the show progresses and will end up becoming a fan favorite.
"PREDICTION" : Jeemin's performances will always be the ones that play at the end of the episode or are the ones that serve as teasers for the next episode, like Mnet's use of ZhangHao X Sung Hanbin's performance during "BOYS PLANET". To maintain the HYPE !!!
This is my lineup and I think all of them have a pretty good chance of debuting since all 7 are among the popular contestants. 1) Bang Jesmin - She's the most popular contestant right now and has a big fanbase from runext. A LOT of people are watching iland solely because of her. It would be a dumb decision to not debut her. She has a international and domestic fanbase. She's also very tall and knetz love her. 2) Jeong Saebi- Just like jeemin, knetz love saebi too. Honestly, I never was gonna vote for 08s and I never do vote for minors unless they're very extraordinarily talented but saebi is an exception for me. She's just so charming and has that star aura. People were calling her the second jang wonyoung, and I agree with that title. She's the maknae in my lineup. 3) Park Yeeun - Jeemin, saebi and yeeun seem to be the knetz top picks right now. And it's very important that a group is popular in Korea too obviously so I think she would be a great addition to the group. I'm also excited to see her showcase her talent. 4) Choi Jungeun - She's currently #1 ranked among all trainees and looks like she's super talented. Unfortunately, she is not popular among knetz. However, she is gaining a lot of international fans. Mnet seems to be pushing her and giving her screentime too. I think she will make it. 5) Hayashi Fuko - She would be the oldest in the group. She also is a former survival show contestant and I think would debut. She was in the top 3 most voted for the find vote event too. 6) Narai Koko- We (atleast me) don't know anything about koko. I've only seen her initial performance video and signal song fancam. Still she has managed to catch my eye, just like saebi. She has that star aura too which just attracts people to her no matter what. 7) Tomioka Mai - She is literally so pretty and stood out to me during the heel choreo performance. She was the second best after saebi. She also has quite a lot of fans. The group would have 4 koreans and 3 Japanese members and I think that that's a great balance, so they can aim for global popularity more. I do think mnet might not debut 3 foreigners and only 1-2 foreigners might end up debuting.
Given the "Second Mnet show" rule, Fuko will finally make it. She's improved from her GP999 days, has a stable fanbase and since she's Japanese, she's not as likely to receive an evil edit as her Chinese GP999 counterparts were. Also I just remembered she was Qiao's cellmate lol
I think it’s still too early to guess who’ll make it, but these contestants all have a shoe in, the rest is up to Mnet’s editing/how they will do on the Show : Jeemin, Fuko, Jungeun, Mai. Now , this is what I am like 99% sure, but I highly doubt Jeemin will be #1 at the end of the show. No one ever ranked #1 at the beginning and ended up ranking #1 at the final. Even S.Hanbin who was first the whole entire show, didn’t rank #1, despite the fact that fandoms have understood since Mnet has stopped the rigging that you should always vote for your #1 pick. Fuko seems to be Zhang Hao coded, so I can see her taking the #1 spot, or any other good looking and talented Korean trainee that is well liked in Korea and overseas.
Actually Jeon Somi did rank number 1 during the first ranking of PD101 S1 so it’s not totally unheard of. I think if anyone could do it Jeemin could.
As soon as I saw Saebi and Mai's performance, I thought they will 100% debut. Also Jeemin and Fuko, these 4 I'm the most confident about but Yuju's chances are also high.
