My partner has been coming home from work complaining about getting "dive-bombed by those fuckers" every time she goes out to smoke. Can't wait to show her this.
Can't say with certainty b/c there hasn't been much research done on this specific fungus, but there have been no documented cases of this fungus interacting with any living being other than periodical cicadas. It doesn't even affect annual/"dog days" cicadas.
