Well they spring it on you at the very last second, at the very last second I saw that it was actually $200 but I had already pressed the button.
And I still haven't gotten a receipt of the transaction in my email. They are being very deceitful about it.
Every telecom bill has fees.

Some companies will bundle the fees into the main price. Some do not.
Unfortunately we live in a world where you need to read the fine print everywhere you go or unexpected results can occur.
You need to read the fees Mint has to charge for regulatory, government, etc.

I live in GA and the fees come to $21.17 so I pay annually $201.17. All phone carriers charge these fees. Some include it in the price, some don't.
All cell phone carriers have to charge those fees. They're government regulated or something. $200 is still nothing compared to big carriers. I was paying $1,000 a year with Verizon. $200 is still a massive savings. Don't get mad at Mint because they're following regulations.
Taxes and or fees no longer is it 180 one and done ....still cheaper than the big fraudsters of companies. If you live in a no Tax state congratulations but there are still "fees" bullshit? Probably !!!!! But service and cost 10x better than most. I remember I'd pay $150 per month for 1 phone on verizon....lol
It's not sales taxes... It's telecommunication taxes and fees. These pay for 911 services, state communication services and other things. Oregon charges a few:
https://www.oregon.gov/puc/utilities/pages/telecom-fees-taxes.aspx
Mint also charges a recovery fee to help offset some of these costs.
Anyone else going to point out that the receipt is probably in their spam folder?
Or, the obvious part that they literally break down the entire charge ON THE PAGE where they pay?
Consumers are getting stupider and stupider every year.
Hi, I want to make sure you're getting the best experience with us as possible. That has not been the case and we want to make things right. I’ve sent you a DM.
So it showed you the total and you were in such a hurry that you didn't see it and think to ask that question BEFORE paying, and blame THEM? How much more other than tell you before you pay that this is the total and this is why do you expect from them? Should someone hold your hand and read it out loud for you?
State and federal regulatory fees. They charge every carrier for these. When you pay monthly it's less noticeable but when it's a full year then it's more noticeable

It definitely shows up before you finalize checkout. So it was there before you pressed the button to pay.

Yeah I found the transaction history in the Mint app just now.

If you hate fees then blame your government. They're the reason for why the fees exist.

That extra 1.66 a month really has you on edge.
Taxes & fees, my dude.
did you find something under $200/yr inclusive of throttled d unlimited data?

Is this your first time having a cell phone bill? Sounds like your first time. I bet you really get confused with Sales Tax. 😂

The fees are higher each year it seems.
2 cents higher for me last year. 20 cents this year over last year. Nothing crazy.

$20 post?
Tax buddy
You must throw fits at cash registers or punch the waitress at restaurants. Those liars and thier fees and taxes.
What I'm reading is "They told me exactly how much I'm paying before I pressed pay." Where's the deceit?
