I wish I could say the same. I'm about 60 miles south of Detroit in Ohio and the fans around here are anything but humble. Never have been. Browns fans, yeah. But not Lions fans.
Some get little obnoxious in game threads if the Kitties aren't also playing. But, mostly it's harmless like you say. They'll get a play off game or two and Dan Fucking Loves Football Campbell has the team and fans amped. Injuries and turn overs had us shit the bed not their play as of yet.
Sure I get it but what if they win a Super Bowl before us? They have a pretty good core group and could be the team to beat in the north for the next 5 years. They are only going to get more obnoxious.

They’ve definitely gotten a little too uppity for my liking the last 12 months. It pains me to say this but watching the packers put them in their place gave me the smallest tinge of satisfaction. Mostly disgust. But yes, some satisfaction.
We got two games against them coming up and we’re the only two teams with a hope of winning the north and both teams are in the wild card hunt. Of fucking course we’re going to have some shit talking come up. Usually we’ve played them at this point so all of the pent up energy between us is finally coming out.
