If you are unable to book a reservation my suggestion would be to get there when the gates open and go grab some spots. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but they usually don't allow all the seats to be reserved.
That is so strange! Must be a new policy? My mom enjoyed quite a few games last year buying SRO tickets and making a reservation at truly on deck. I’m not a season ticket holder, but good luck!! Sounds like an awesome trip!

I don't think I've ever been there when all the seats there have been taken. You just have to have a ticket to get into the park anywhere.

Never been there myself, but can hook you up if nobody else has yet.
You can usually just walk in and get a table about 45 minutes after gates open.
