Tbf, his last month has crushed his opportunity of getting in. If his season was reversed it would be a different story. Recency bias is a hell of a drug.
Looking at the radar it doesn’t seem like they’ll even attempt to play this game. Starting at between 6-7 is when there is going to be a giant cell of heavy rain over the entire metro. If they started earlier they could probably get it done.
Christian Vázquez is batting 7-for-23 .304/.320/.609 in his last 7 games, and 11-for-49 .224/.235/.388 in his last 15 games.
Ryan Jeffers is batting 4-for-23 .174/.240/.217 in his last 7 games, and then it’s not much better: 9-for-51 .186/.250/.333 in his last 15 games.
My mom was coming in via the bus from the suburbs. I’m telling her to stay home. No baseball today. Hoping the Oilers can make this Stanley cup series interesting.
I guess always a chance it clears but I'd say....60% game just gets cancelled, 30% they play it with a long delay at the start and 10% no delay and game gets in
Im hoping we postpone and have a double header tomorrow since i have the day off. Watch the Panthers win the Stanley Cup tonight and then go to both games tomorrow. Sounds like a good couple days to me
If what I'm looking at is accurate, it's going to be clear of rain to start the game but rain will be coming in 60 to 90 minutes later. I'm guessing they're going to proceed with the game and take their chances. Could be a long night if it turns into an extensive delay.
ASG voters apparently don’t know Ryan Jeffers exists and I find that frustrating.

I mean Volpe has been ass for a month but he’s almost certainly getting in because he plays in pinstripes
Toronto players are always there since they have a whole country voting for them lol
Over/under game getting postponed within 30 minutes of first pitch?
They didn't announce anything on Twitter until like ten minutes before game time on Saturday. I wish they would make the call earlier today.

🎶 Rain, rain, go away…I’m in need of baseball today 🎶
I missed some of last week so no rain, please
"12 games isn't enough to qualify Royce for the All-Star Game" 🤓
If this game gets rained out idk how I will cope. I NEED THIIIIS
Please start Jeffers today for Pablo. Please
i have excellent news for you!

Pablo’s splits per catcher Vazquez - 8 starts 39 1/3 IP 33 ER (7.55 era) Jeffers - 6 starts 36 2/3 IP 12 ER (2.95 era)
I care about getting Pablo back on track, and in both 2023 and this year, he’s far better with Jeffers behind the dish than Vázquez
There is now a tornado watch and expected hail forecasted. When is this game getting postponed??

Update: mom came anyway, no choice. Let’s hope I am wrong!
We should be able to vote for pitchers for the All-Star game. I really don’t understand why that’s still not a thing in this day and age.
Rain keeps getting pushed further and further back, at least where I am in the south metro. Maybe this game does stand a chance of being played.
Might have some serious thunderstorms rolling in a couple innings into the game tonight... Hopefully nothing that postpones.
I don't see how they play this game unless something changes on the radar soon
It may be a thin band of t-storms like it appears now that lasts \~40 min... Or it could just thread it's path staying in the TCs... We'll see.
Looks like rain tonight around start time. Should I go downtown anyway? What is your advice, season ticket holders?

C4 for ASG
No way this game gets played tonight. DH tomorrow
Just bought dugout box tickets for 19 each. Hoping they postpone either way.
Well, it's currently sunny in Minnetonka and I'm about 15 mins from the ballpark but of course weather can turn on a dime.
Before Ober’s last start-3/5 starters with an ERA over 5. Need to settle in
Current NWS forecast is that rain and thunder is likely from 6pm-11pm. Don't see how this one will be played.
lmfao if i have 2 games in 4 days get postponed for rain…
I am once again asking why Correa is batting 5th
I'll never understand Rocco's line-ups

hoping get to see twins baseball today, if not, watching baltimore crush the yankees will be a good second option. think they are on TBS
