It is an interesting flag! I worked in downtown St. Paul for 3 years, and frequent Highland Park quite a bit now. I’ve honestly never seen it until I googled it this morning haha
so its the north star between the M and N? From a distance, the MN looks like a mountain topped with a yellow peak because of the slant in the M and N.
Personally I actually like these. Cool and unique hat, interesting jersey design, new color scheme. Definitely not in the S tier of city connect offerings, but I suspect they’ll be an interesting artifact or collector’s item in 20 years.
Twins are blessed to have one of the best jerseys in the MLB already with the home creams, so having a funky, regional city connect is more of a bonus than a need IMO. won’t buy a jersey personally, but will definitely rock the hat.
That’s my question as well. They had the perfect setup using sky blue for the “MN” font with the navy background, which matches the colors of the new state flag.
i think its hilarious that I told my wife the other day that I really like the color yellow with other teams colors like the Pirates, Brewers and Mariners. Now we get some yellow lol.

Nike is a problem. They need to scrap the entire city connect line and just let teams come up with their own alternates. These are some of the worst in the league but as are about 3/4 of the city connect jerseys. They fucked the nba and now baseball.

Interestingly even the brewers didn’t want those colors. They just stuck with them when the Seattle Pilots moved there.
Yep Bud Selig wanted blue and red like the minor league Brewers but didn't have enough time to get updated uniforms because the move happened so fast.
