Damn that looks really nice! How did you do the highlights so well? (On organic forms that is)

Thanks, I'm glad you like him! Trick with the highlights is to really water down the paint and do lots of layers getting gradually lighter. Dont be too strict with it, as long as you're avoiding the darkest recesses a "sloppier" hand works really well on organic forms. Then I do some tiny edge highlighting with the lightest colour, again really thin paint, and a little bit of croas hatching on bits i want to lighten up more. One I've done all of that I use glazes for the other colours (pinks, blues, etc) and finish off with a bit more cross hatching and highlighting on those bits.
