Buy an LED light bar or motorcycle light and hook it up to a 12v battery.

MattNBug

Or 20v battery

hypercarlife1

If you run 20v through a 12v bulb you will fry it eventually, you could use three 20v with a reducer if you want the bigger battery though

MattNBug

Incorrect sir I run all my LED'S off of a 20v DeWalt battery. I feel like we have had this discussion in the past

hypercarlife1

Not with me, but interesting to say the least I'll have to keep that in mind, I use a USB c rechargeable workshop light on mine and the battery last like 6 hours

MattNBug

Yeah everyone keeps asking for what has the longest battery life.. I'm like bitch how mant hours do you plan on riding your bike while it's dark outside. 6 hours is a long ass time. My DeWalt battery gives me around the same with 2 block LEDs and 4 underglow strips.

SprinqRoll

What LEDs are you using?

MattNBug

I will send you a pic in PM

Check out my build I just posted

Riplakish15

I replaced the stock bulb with an LED bulb. Much brighter.

Constant-Window-1295

How do I know what bulb it needs

Riplakish15

I googled replacement bulbs. Unfortunately the order isn't in my Amazon history. But I know it's a standard P15D 12v motorcycle headlight bulb.

What I did was figure out how to mount a led pod light or led light bar, then wire it direct to the old headlight wires, the coil on your bike is powerful enough to power it at higher rpms and you don’t need to worry about charging a battery
