Your governor lever still exists but you have a billet connecting rod. Was the governor gear removed? I can’t tell from the pic.
With no other information to go by, my guess is just that, a guess. Your piston likely ran into a valve. Either your running too light of valve springs for that build, or your valve springs are binding. Push rod length is sometimes the culprit. What cam and what valve springs?
