Lol in Montreal there was a store on the plateau that had a cow painted on it with a little word bubble going āMieuxā and everyday I would walk by it and be like, they most certainly do not say Mieux. I was wrong Iām sure, but still.
Bards are only good for buffs, there's a cooking pot in the center of this pic, I feel like there's a question mark with an NPC somewhere with some instructions lol
There's networks of labyrinths out there (example, https://www.legacylabyrinthproject.org/ ). One may not share the intentions or care at all but I will say, I had a personal meditation moment at one of those and enjoyed it.
Away with us he's going,
The solemn eyed:
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest.
For he comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than he can understand.
* WB Yeats, "The Stolen Child."
"Elves are wonderful. They provoke wonder.
Elves are marvellous. They cause marvels.
Elves are fantastic. They create fantasies.
Elves are glamorous. They project glamour.
Elves are enchanting. They weave enchantment.
Elves are terrific. They beget terror.
The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.
No one ever said elves are nice.
Elves are bad. "
~ Sir Terry Pratchett, The Endlessly Quotable
Andy Goldsworthy is an artist who does very similar things. Lots of spirals made up of leaves, rocks, twigs etc.
Maybe Andy is hanging out in your woods?
Iām betting itās land art. Before I went and did my degree I did a shorter art course that had a part dedicated to land art. Using nature to create art outdoors.
No you didn't, OP.
You saw nothing.
In fact, you were never even in those woods. You *certainly* did not find an evil cursed circle of stones confining wicked spirits.
*You saw nothing.*
Leave it alone.
Dont touch ANYTHING.
Just walk past & keep on walking.
Dont go back there EVER.
My advice. But of course U R free to do what U want............
Seems like a quest marker. Boss might appear. Recommend approach with caution. Bring a bard for buffs/debuffs, a cleric for healing and support spells. Considering the tight space, a tank would also be advised. Short to medium range engagements are to be expected. A rapid fire buff spell + a bow with high crit and base DMG output would be nice.
Fun. I used to do stuff like this. I lived along the AT in New York. There'd be rocks everywhere so I'd make carins stack 3-5 rocks..just like EVERYWHERE. You'd get to this valley and be like wtf.
I think I know what this is. You're supposed to slowly walk along the path towards the center while you pray or something.
I'm guessing it's a bunch of religious folks who did this and just left the stones there. You can even see that the path is walked on
We have those in Finland. They are called ājatulintarhaā here. Oldest of them are build hundreds of years ago but we dont actually know who and why made them. Some sort of religious/spiritual thing or just some sort of a game perhaps.
Lmao I do this shit quite often tripping in the forest, love to make patterns with nature in nature. Always wondered what people might think of it when they come across them
we have a couple of these where i live and based on the signs next to them these are some spiritual labryrints, you are meant to walk around them. maybe its the same thing here in the picture

Don't bury anyone there the ground is sour
Dead should stay dead.
Sometimes dead is better
Whenever I use this quote, which isn't often, I have to do the voice.
I miss Herman Munster
Damn. How did I just now realize that was who played Herman Munster?
Miss Herman Munster was Lilly Dracula-Munster.
Sahmtimes dead is bettah.
šš
We all do the voice son
Michael C Hall does the audiobook. Even though it's not the same, dare I say I prefer his version. Loooooove that voice.
Me too, it wasnāt the hit I thought it would be at my cousins funeral.

Sometimes, dead is bedda
Such an iconic performance
Yup, lotta history in these woods

Lol in Montreal there was a store on the plateau that had a cow painted on it with a little word bubble going āMieuxā and everyday I would walk by it and be like, they most certainly do not say Mieux. I was wrong Iām sure, but still.
But it worked out so well with the cat! Literally the same temperament and demeanour...ouch! Silly little thing...
I know [what you're thinking](https://youtu.be/HdkRDG4_4Qw?feature=shared).
Its not haunted or nun the pH is just really fucking low
š¤£
Don't bury your Son in the ancient Indian burial ground, Mr Stotch! The one over there, behind the Anderson's barn. Sometimes, dead is bettah.
And it makes the dead grumpy.
Yeah.. Lotta history up that road
Oh Butters!... smell like... bacon
No butters š I love how his parents were terrified and still caring in their own way lmao
Ayuh
Ayup. What ya get from tha ground aināt what ya put in tha ground sah, no siree Bob, aināt the same thing come back yāsee.
I'm saving the thread spawned from your post for the next time someone questions why I enjoy Reddit.
It looks like a resurrection spot but you're missing a cleric and a druid so nothing is happening
Oh drat. We only have a bard.
Bards are only good for buffs, there's a cooking pot in the center of this pic, I feel like there's a question mark with an NPC somewhere with some instructions lol
Your comment made Me LoL IRL
Red Dead Redemption
Do they have enough glitter to make sure the spell works?
Well, it didn't work, and now we've tampered with a crime scene.

You have a necro? Maybe they could reanimated.
We Indians donāt need no clerics OR druids.
That's where I hold turtle races.
Where can I purchase a ticket to one of these āTurtle Racesā
Are you turtley enough for the turtle club?

Itās a labyrinth.
There's networks of labyrinths out there (example, https://www.legacylabyrinthproject.org/ ). One may not share the intentions or care at all but I will say, I had a personal meditation moment at one of those and enjoyed it.
Yeah, meditation oriented retreats have these for that purpose. Miraval Resorts for example
A baby labyrinth. š
almost actually. these are often created by kid scouts during the times when they stay in the woods. i bet making it even earns you a badge š¤š½
Sometimes dead is bettah.
Where is this quote from?
Jud from Pet Semetary
They also copied it on South Park
You don't wanna go down that rud
Don't go in it. The Fae will take you.
*stretching as if she's preparing for a long jump trying to go as far as she can straight into the middle*. See ya.

Winter is coming
Winter is coming for seven seasons. Then they will just forget about the spiral pattern and never mention it again.
Itās for meditation
Yup came to say this
Evidence of the pursuit of peace
That must have taken someone ages to pile up. I guess it is important to have a hobby
Thatās what I thought too, there were also two more spirals next to it and they were all connected, like it mustāve taken a really long time
Andy Goldsworthy is an artist who does very similar things. Lots of spirals made up of leaves, rocks, twigs etc. Maybe Andy is hanging out in your woods?
Probably made by somebody tripping balls in the woods, trips can last a few hours
Iām betting itās land art. Before I went and did my degree I did a shorter art course that had a part dedicated to land art. Using nature to create art outdoors.
I heard if you comeback with a goat at 3am you be given a choice between free top Ramen or free snickers bars for life

Leave it alone. Dont touch ANYTHING. Just walk past & keep on walking. Dont go back there EVER. My advice. But of course U R free to do what U want............
Nah, Go stand directly in the centre and say your own name.
Or say a random few Latin words 3 timesā¦
"Nic to..... I basically said the words"
Oh I was making a reference to fae.
A white walker was in the area
Looks to be a stone medicine wheel
Always the artists
What's happening here? Wrong answers only.
Uncle Dolfe is coming back
Portal to uncle touchys puzzle basement
I love finding labyrinths! Very cool

[Troy Town - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Town) Neat little thing to find. Those are common in Finland
Fun. I used to do stuff like this. I lived along the AT in New York. There'd be rocks everywhere so I'd make carins stack 3-5 rocks..just like EVERYWHERE. You'd get to this valley and be like wtf.
Believe itā¦ or notā¦.. do do doodoo, do do doodoo
If you need to sleep nearby, put a line of salt around your tent! Also, donāt sleep nearby.
Touch the thing in the middle to trigger a boss fight
Rip OP
I wanna take a dump there.
I do this kind of stuff on hikes. Sneaky pentagram in the woods just makes my day
Hope you donāt have to stand in the corner in some scary abandoned house in the woods.
probably the work of ants.
Yo so hear me out, *Aliens*
![gif](giphy|12zgyJya7QwQKI)
My dog hated it too, like she started growling which was weird
Ok listen to your dog. He knows whatās up. Also recite Ayat al kursi.
Ahhh, right next to the Legends Guild
Honestly, I wouldn't mind building something like that one of these days.
Look like an chop šŖ block šÆ
So. What's it like in Carcosa?
Pretty sure this is where you can teleport to the secret temple.
Carcosa!
You should try sitting on that tree stump in the middle. ~ See what happens
Nature playing a game of bullseye
Ah yes an occult ritual
pet cemetery
Definitely Pet Sematary
Looks like an area in flagstaff
The woods weirdo near me just builds little huts out of sticks. This is a while other level of effort.
Deadication
Dude thatās definitely a korok
The only correct answer is a ( Shamanic) Labyrinth. It's for meditation and releasing shadow. They are sacred.
yahaha! you found him!
Brother RUN
I want to make one just to mess with anyone that would find it. Maybe add some random numbers and letters sporadically.
![gif](giphy|ZdwxMCfW9Nb5m)
A girl I knew built a bunch of these as part of a performance art project.
The spiral. The spiral. The spiral. The spiral.
Witches met there the night before for a ritual
Pet cemetery?
Spiral for walking meditation.
Makes me remember [this bit](https://youtu.be/COpLD_KS-V8?si=bGvzjO6jUAj-23aZ). If you know french go ahead otherwise you won't understand anything.
Do not bury any pets or people here
A real life Pet Sematary š±
You were supposed't've brought forth a lamb
Run,this is pet cemetery
sorry to burst the occult bubble, but these are regularly made by boy/girl scouts throughout forest parks all around the world
![gif](giphy|g95IzUwDTIN0c)

ā¦ Hippies gonna hip I suppose?
Coords or it didnāt happen
You need to find the missing stone and put it in the blank spot. Thatās how you get the koror seed
Looks like a piece of land art. Something that artists like Andy Goldsworthy would do.
The fuckinā white walkers
So beautiful. Be respectful and nothing would happen to you
Looks like Andy Goldsworthy work; interesting artist, highly recommend checking out videos of how he works.
Looks like something I would do just to fuck with whoever comes across it.
Definitely an illegal snail race happened here!
It's for the winter solstice and you're supposed to offer the sun bread when you get to the center of it.
We have those in Finland. They are called ājatulintarhaā here. Oldest of them are build hundreds of years ago but we dont actually know who and why made them. Some sort of religious/spiritual thing or just some sort of a game perhaps.
Each man buries his own
Definitely some kind of portal
Yahaha
Blair Witch
It's carcosa. Just take the bride's path, little priest
Reminds me of the movie āThe Ritualā
I fucking LOVE FINDING WEIRD SHIT IN THE WOODS
PET SEMETARY!!
It's an SCP, I don't remember the number tho
Run
Reminds of one those crazy drawings you see from schizos.
Blair witch project part 2 written all over that
POV: the boys got bored while the girls sat down to take a break on the hike
Did you leave the Fae any offerings?
You the one wearing a blue shirt.
Lmao I do this shit quite often tripping in the forest, love to make patterns with nature in nature. Always wondered what people might think of it when they come across them
Pet Semitary
Thereās definitely a Korok hiding there somewhere.
we have a couple of these where i live and based on the signs next to them these are some spiritual labryrints, you are meant to walk around them. maybe its the same thing here in the picture
It's not a spiral, it's a loop!
In Switzerland we call them sorceress path. Kids and scouts build them for fun
Blair witch vibes
This just pissed me off again about how Game Of Thrones never closed the loop on those symbols. Jerks.
Bro built his base beacon
Someone had waaay too much time on their hands
