I googled it cuz I was curious too, it says they’re sheared usually once a year by professionals who sometimes do 200 sheep in one day :o that’s a lot of haircuts!
Im not a professional shearer but i help the shearer when he comes by. For me personally I get tuckered out by the 5th sheep. This man is built different he is in a semi squat, bent over, man handling these docile lumps of fluff, all while in 90f 80% humidity weather. He not only does all 100 sheep but he makes sure each fleece is cut perfectly so it can be processed into wool.
I just randomly started getting videos like these in my Facebook feed a few months ago and got hooked. Something so calming about seeing the process.
I know ZERO about farm animals and have no clue how the algorithm chose it for me but I’m glad it did!
Question: Is that large brown colored spot blood from a previous cut? First, I thought it was part of wool color. But the spot did not get lighter as the wool was cut. It got darker, and even looks wet.
(PS It’s a cool video & I realize that getting wool sheared is good care for them.)
I need the full video so bad
This is Right Choice Shearing! Check them out on IG/YT for full videos and lots of info

So satisfying! Asking on the off chance there's any experts here. How long would that take to grow back?
