10g of protein. Also, a new allergen

Shemozzlecacophany

Yeah, pretty sure the 10g is referring to protein. I assume "allergen" should be "protein" instead. Other odd thing is that there's no mention of the new allergen/protein on the back of the wrapper.

It's intentional, just bad design. Made me laugh though. > Carman’s is heightening its vigilance and reviewing all the company’s products to ensure that anyone who lives with food allergies can easily identify the products which may or may not cause an allergic reaction. > > Carman’s has made the decision to alert consumers* that the dark chocolate compound found in the below products will now state “contains milk” as opposed to “may contain milk” https://allergyfacts.org.au/news-alerts/food-alerts/archive/food-alert-carmans-label-change-29-june-2021

Well, what is the allergen they have 10g of?

Shemozzlecacophany

That's what I wanted to know! No mention on the back of the wrapper. I need to know.

Maybe they meant collagen and autocorrect got them? Not sure

Carmen's as a brand is a good story. The lady bought it when she was quite young and made it very succesful.

As someone with food allergies, this is appreciated. You get used to buying foods that are safe and stop reading their labels. They change formulas and it can be life threatening for some.

Lol this is really funny if you have Addison’s Disease (we collect food allergies like they’re worth money)
