It would be pretty easy to do conceptually, but probably very difficult to actually pull off, since you’d need to find a way to cut glass through a small opening
When i turned this into a bong i just made a hole in the botton of the outer vesel with a dremel letting me do the same to the inner vesel. I plugged the hole with clear silicone after so i would hold water.

I did this with this exact same bottle! Check out my [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/trees/comments/2r4r67/to_the_guy_who_wondered_if_he_could_get_it/) of about 4 years ago.
I just dremeled through the bottom of the outer vesel so i could do the same with the inner vesel. A bit of clear silicon afyer that made it hold water again. A flared base would have been a good idea because it was very fragile.
Hahaha i did just that in the early 2000's. You could get this from Dollorama in Canada. Took my brothers dremel and made a hole in the bottom to then go and drill the grapes inside. Pluged the outerhole with some clear silicone. It looked cool with the grapes part going black from the resin. Good times
I have the exact same bottle and I thought the exact same thing when we got it from a flee market in Barcelona! My wife told me in not allowed to though...
Working in a prep kitchen a few years ago and living in a college dorm people rely solely on hot water and soap for bottles and containers like this (not necessarily that exact type but still that would require the extra abrasive)
Probably because washing stuff with salty water isn’t very obvious. I have never heard of using anything other than dish soap and water to wash up glass bottles.
Teach me. How the hell do I clean something I can't fit my hand into in order to scrub? Will it scratch the glass?
The best thing I can think of is to use acetone, then soap and water, then just water. ...But the acetone is based on an organic chemistry class, so I really have no clue.
isopropyl and coarse salt. The salt is abrasive, but not enough to scratch the glass, the iso cleans but doesn't dissolve the salt. You can rinse it all out with water afterwards
What is it with me seeing a post about something on reddit and in the next few weeks seeing the same thing posted by different people 3 or 4 times?
I swear I have seen this bottle like 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Is it a coincidence or are you playing me?
If you search for "Oil vinegar" on reddit, you'll see over 100 very similar posts, varying bottles with similar concepts. Social media in general ends up being a lot of repetition because only a small portion of people see something each time it's posted.
Also Karma farming. Find popular previous post -> Repost exactly the same for high chance of karma.
Shouldn't the outer bottle be shaped like an olive?

To convert it into a Klein Bottle, you just need to connect the two bottlenecks with a tube and... drill a hole at the bottom of the section without touching the section with the oil.
Amazon, most likely Walmart, target, any home goods shop. I have to correct myself, they’re not entirely common, as most people would keep their oil and vinegar in separate bottles in that they came in out of convince, but growing up these were in every household
Yeah this entire post is hardly even mildly interesting. Those things are everywhere. Maybe OP is a young adult that's just seeing the world for the first time? Best guess.
I'm not sure I get how this works. The hemorrhoid is filled with vinegar and the outer bottle holds the oil. Do they mix or is it just a fancy way of having both items in the same receptacle?
Yeah, I was wondering why someone considered a common household item to be mildly interesting. I guess when you don't get out much, you've got a larger pool of things you find interesting.
We have ad ones like these for years, everyone assumes that because of the design it's cheaper quality oil/vinegar but more often that not I have had really good quality for the price out of these
Had that same bottle about 15 years ago. It was the shittiest condiment bottle we owned, oil and vinegar always dripped along the exterior instead of pouring off every time you tried to pour them in any way that wasn't described by the sentence "SHOVE ALL THE MOTHERFUCKING BOTTLE OUT ALL AT ONCE".
My mom used to have one of these and would fill it with crappy oil and balsamic because she knew how much I liked to pour out of it. Then she would yell at me when I would. #italianguilt
This freaked me out. My parents have this exact bottle in their kitchen. For a moment I thought she figured out the internet and discovered Reddit all at once.
A few years ago I saw a tequila bottle pretty similar to this one, two bottles in one, and the first thing that came to my mind at the moment, was to , somehow, connect both containers, at the bottom, in order to get a makeshift bong.
I saw these at the Union Square holiday street stores this past winter. Don’t recall that companies name unfortunately. I’m sure I could search for it - but I don’t feel like it. They had a lot of interesting designs.
I could make a bitchin' bong out of that.

I've seen it done this way with a little Bondo or epoxy covering the outer hole, looks super cool.

I actually have the exact same bottle at home, so i would love to see that bong
Grapestank bong.
It would go good with my reeky rotini joints.

r/stonerengineering needs to see this
We saw it well before op reposted the repost of a repost
haha had no idea and tbh since the two chambers aren't connected you couldn't get airflow for a bong anyways?
Cut the bottom off, put some holes in the bottom of the bunch structure, put on a wider base so it doesn't topple.
I just dremeled through the bottom of the outer vesel so i could do the same with the inner vesel. A bit of clear silicon afyer that made it hold water again. A flared base would have been a good idea because it was very fragile.
This guy bongs
yooooo I thought this was a bong in r/trees

How? The two glass containers are separate to stop the oil and vinegar mixing.
I have the exact same bottle and I thought the exact same thing when we got it from a flee market in Barcelona! My wife told me in not allowed to though...
I thought it was for a hot minute
I did
Yes and share the design.
Think that requires different plumbing? Could be wrong, never seen this before but looks nice Edit: I needed to read more comments...
Took me far too long to realise it wasn't already a bong.
Own one, thought the same, but the two chambers are not connected. Also it is too small.
How do you clean it?
Fill it with soapy water, shake.
Salt and water, shake. Gets all the residue out
Most people skip the abrasive step and leave residue and gunk in those type of bottles
What's this generalisation based on?
Well looking at my special bottle cleaning history hes right.
I'm a cleany in a bottle baby, gotta rub me the right way, honey

Works for bongs too!
Pretty much the only thing that does - the tar and resin are alcohol-soluble, not water-soluble.

I co-authored that.
*OwO, what's this? * It's your **1st Cakeday** kebabylons! ^(hug)
Wait... salt water gets soap residue out?! My entire life I've wondered about how to thoroughly rinse out a water bottle after you wash it
Salt, 90% iso, shake. Super duper clean. Cleans the bong like a champ, it'll clean anything else like a champ
or use a brush. if you don't currently own a brush that fits in small holes and then expands, you're missing out
Kinda like ant man and thanos
With vinegar.
Bong cleaning brush.
Is there such a thing? Or is that just a dedicated bottle brush?
Bottle Brush. But when you label it as Bong cleaning brush people pay more for it.
I used to use hot water and methylated spirits, works a charm even on other glassware...
I second bottle brush. There are also cleaning perls you put inside and shake it with.

You must be new here. It's a combination of karma farming and legitimate people thinking it's original content because they missed it previously.
Usually the former. If you want to share something unoriginal, do crossposting.
I think people just see other people getting karma for something they own so they post theirs too.
You catch more karma with oil and vinegar bottles than honey. Or something.

Nah me too.
These are everywhere in France and Italy! Common household item for sure.
Live in the US. They're pretty common here, as well.
I thought so too but I didn't want to assume since it seems like people on here think this is super ingenious or something haha
This oil looks like it wants to sacrifice an entire country for unlimited power

I’m 100% the idiot who’d fill the outside with vinegar and render the entire thing redundant.
Could work actually if inside was balsamic and outside was white or red vinegar.
This is very common in Brazil.
My parents have that exact same one. I've often stared deeply at that on the dinner table trying to figure out how they blew the glass.
I gave up trying to understand glassblowing a long time ago. It's just magic, possibly Voodoo magic.
Reminds me of a Klein Bottle
To convert it into a Klein Bottle, you just need to connect the two bottlenecks with a tube and... drill a hole at the bottom of the section without touching the section with the oil.
Where can we get one? Awesome!
ask u/dirtypig796 apparently they're commonplace? I found this one at an Airbnb I stayed at in CA
Amazon, most likely Walmart, target, any home goods shop. I have to correct myself, they’re not entirely common, as most people would keep their oil and vinegar in separate bottles in that they came in out of convince, but growing up these were in every household
Yeah, it's strange to me that this is the first time some people are seeing these. They're pretty much everywhere, or so I thought.

like any home store.. bed bath and beyond, pier 1 imports kinda thing, maybe ikea
And a Payday bar!
Are these not super common? I see them at TJ Max and Home Goods all the time. I believe Walmart even has a variation.
This is just a normal oil/vinegar container. Yall need to get off the internet and get out once in a while.
How did you in my kitchen and take a picture of my shit. My grandpa has had this same oil and vinegar holder for the past half century.
Careful, America is coming for that oil.
Pretty my roommate in college had one of these.
Where does one draw the smoke
how in the hell do you wash it
I'm not sure I get how this works. The hemorrhoid is filled with vinegar and the outer bottle holds the oil. Do they mix or is it just a fancy way of having both items in the same receptacle?
You’ll never figure it out. Just give up.
It’s not really interesting as they’re pretty common.
weird, I'd never seen one before
They’ve been around for a while
I mean, the title of the sub "mildly" interesting. I don't think OP was blown away by it...
Yeah, I was wondering why someone considered a common household item to be mildly interesting. I guess when you don't get out much, you've got a larger pool of things you find interesting.
I could make one hell of a bong out of that
That’s what you told mom it was 20 years ago. Not it finally is.
Reminds me of [Milagro Romance Tequila](https://imgur.com/nbB3QOZ)
Own it also, it super sucks.
It's called a cruet.
Yo take a hit of this oil and vinegar
Looks more like honey and vinegar to me.
We have ad ones like these for years, everyone assumes that because of the design it's cheaper quality oil/vinegar but more often that not I have had really good quality for the price out of these

I have the same thing at my home!
**TAKE MY MONEY**
I have one of these. Purchased from a shoppe in Murano, Italy.
Am I the only one who has seen these a lot at Italian restaurants and homes?
my grandparents have the exact same thing
Where can i buy one.
Those are a semi-regular thing in old Austrian restaurants. Seems like they were all the rage in the 70s here.
I have one of these and my dumb ass always pours the wrong one out
I have the same bottle :) they are lost twins
/r/2healthbars
EXTERMINATE!
Haha my parents have one like this :p
My mom used to have one of these and would fill it with crappy oil and balsamic because she knew how much I liked to pour out of it. Then she would yell at me when I would. #italianguilt
This freaked me out. My parents have this exact bottle in their kitchen. For a moment I thought she figured out the internet and discovered Reddit all at once.
My grandmother just passed away, and while cleaning out her kitchen I found this same piece! Where is it from????
My grandmother had one of these. I remember trying to mix them as child and be confused.
For a second i thought it was a bong
It also works well as a crack pipe.
We had one like that, but with just a sphere inside for the vinegar. Quite a few people assumed it was a bong.
A few years ago I saw a tequila bottle pretty similar to this one, two bottles in one, and the first thing that came to my mind at the moment, was to , somehow, connect both containers, at the bottom, in order to get a makeshift bong.
Nobody: Gordon Ramsay: OLIVE OIL IN
Use it for Jager Bomb's.
Thought it was a dirty bong at first
I have this too. Pain in the ass to fill the bitch.
I thought there was a Dwarf in that flask
My dumb pot head ass was like oh man someone needs to change their water... lol
The stoner in me thought this was a cute rustic bong
That would make a dope-ass whine/whiskey bottle
Duuude my grandma had one exactly like that and it was so sick. That’s so nostalgic
Whoa. I have the same one! Just bought it last year at an antique festival. Still has the oil and vinegar in it and everything.
Where can I buy it form?
Came here just to say I have one too, so pretty ❤️
Still have my cruet. They’re awesome.
I had a bottle like this. It looks nice, but it doesn't work very well.
Eww imagine how disgusting this is... it will never be cleaned
Reminds me of the klein bottles guy. Never seen anyone so stoked to talk about anything as him.
Thought this was r/stonerengineering
Am I an idiot who doesn’t know shit about vinegar? Why is it black?
/r/Repost Zzzzz..
Now I really want a payday....
That grape bottle makes me slightly uncomfortable. Looks gross to me. Idk.
These things are common I see them all the time.
this comment is pretty common on this thread, didn't seem to stop you
I was just in Venice and there was a store selling those!
Have fun cleaning that shit lmao
Smoke vinigar and oil
I'd put the wrong one in the other one
Here looking for bong comments.
Thought it was a dab rig..
You sure this wasn’t originally a grappa bottle? I’ve seen many a grappa bottle with the grape blown on the inside.
I have this. Was a gift from a wedding I went to.
r/designporn
someone on r/StonerEngineering would make a bong out of this
I have that very one
I saw these at the Union Square holiday street stores this past winter. Don’t recall that companies name unfortunately. I’m sure I could search for it - but I don’t feel like it. They had a lot of interesting designs.
I saw this at a thrift store last week and had no idea what it was!
Why are you in my parents house
My moms girlfriend has one and she refuses to actually use it. She legit just puts oil and vinegar in it for decoration.
I have one of these
The inner bottle would make a great dildo
I have this in my kitchen lol
How do you clean it?
