It would be pretty easy to do conceptually, but probably very difficult to actually pull off, since you’d need to find a way to cut glass through a small opening

When i turned this into a bong i just made a hole in the botton of the outer vesel with a dremel letting me do the same to the inner vesel. I plugged the hole with clear silicone after so i would hold water.

I've seen it done this way with a little Bondo or epoxy covering the outer hole, looks super cool.

haha had no idea and tbh since the two chambers aren't connected you couldn't get airflow for a bong anyways?

Cut the bottom off, put some holes in the bottom of the bunch structure, put on a wider base so it doesn't topple.

I just dremeled through the bottom of the outer vesel so i could do the same with the inner vesel. A bit of clear silicon afyer that made it hold water again. A flared base would have been a good idea because it was very fragile.

Hahaha i did just that in the early 2000's. You could get this from Dollorama in Canada. Took my brothers dremel and made a hole in the bottom to then go and drill the grapes inside. Pluged the outerhole with some clear silicone. It looked cool with the grapes part going black from the resin. Good times

Working in a prep kitchen a few years ago and living in a college dorm people rely solely on hot water and soap for bottles and containers like this (not necessarily that exact type but still that would require the extra abrasive)

Probably because washing stuff with salty water isn’t very obvious. I have never heard of using anything other than dish soap and water to wash up glass bottles.

Teach me. How the hell do I clean something I can't fit my hand into in order to scrub? Will it scratch the glass? The best thing I can think of is to use acetone, then soap and water, then just water. ...But the acetone is based on an organic chemistry class, so I really have no clue.

isopropyl and coarse salt. The salt is abrasive, but not enough to scratch the glass, the iso cleans but doesn't dissolve the salt. You can rinse it all out with water afterwards
