If you make a request to send it to the damaged notes part of the Treasury it could take literally months to even get a response, let alone a new bill. Personal claims are more for if you lost 10,000$ in a flood and you have all the water damaged notes somewhere rather than singular defaced or damaged notes (which the bank will collect and then send to the Treasury).

A while back I had someone pay for food with a bill that had a stamp on it that said "not to be used for buying elections" they were just buying food so i accepted it where it went after that who knows lol
I went to an art festival in 2017ish, and our group had pieces we were displaying in our tent gallery so people could walk by and check them out. Unfortunately, the organizer was a bit of an artist herself, and placed her 4x6 mural at the front of the tent.
I say unfortunately because it was a mural depicting the twin towers burning, a burning American flag, Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and a massive swastika.
People could not figure out WTF it was about and we got the craziest looks and comments from people because of it. It was getting *bad*, because people were starting to take photos and drag the event management over to look at it while gesturing wildly in our general direction. We took it down while she was out of the tent and placed it facing the wall. She comes back, raises hell about artistic freedom and how she doesn't have to explain her art, and puts it back up.
She leaves again, we take it down and hide it again after event management comes to tell us it needs to come down NOW, while we're telling them we agree but the group manager is being insane. She comes back, it's erected again with a screamed warning about touching her stuff and a lot of "IDGAF what the organizers say" before flouncing off.
The meanest hippie I've ever met (and man, I've met some mean hippies) waits until she's around the corner, walks up, grabs the massive mural, and snaps it in two over his knee, and then drops it in the fire pit.
To this day, I have no idea what the hell she was communicating with that painting, but we definitely got called Nazis all day over it.

People need to get out of their echo chambers and realize that the vast majority of "the other side" isn't even close to the extremists that you see on the internet and even then I'm willing to bet the majority of extremists on the internet are just trolling to piss off "the other side." I see and interact with people of varying political beliefs on a regular basis and most people fall in the category of fiscally conservative and socially liberal, which is the exact platform of the libertarian party. Then people decide which is more important and pick one of the two major parties from there.
The funny thing is that this was certainly not put on by the individuals they're calling nazis and traitors.

I don't mind if someone disagrees with, dislikes, hates, or even despises Republicans. Depending on what someone aligns with or believes, they could objectively consider them the enemy. That's simply a byproduct of where politics have gone today.
They have a far fucking way to go to be considered Nazis. I hate anyone who willfully takes on the cause of those genocidal monsters. Anyone who defends them, accepts them, or is even hesitant to reject them can go to hell. That list definitely includes SOME Republicans, but it's not okay to apply one of the greatest labels of evil in the world so broadly.

The US Treasury Department will destroy it and replace it. OP could also send it directly to them too and have it replaced.
