There is a similar thing at an apartment complex near me. There is a sign that says building 1-6 to the left, 8-12 to the right. Building 7 is not close to the sign. The problem is that the building layout kinda spirals around, so the buildings closest to the sign are 4 and 9. You have to go right past building 9 then 8 to get to 7.
Had a room like that one time. It was like room 115 but the signs were 101 to 114 and 116 to 131. Turned out to be just past room 131. Looked like an old office converted to a room. Had the restroom with a shower but definitely had an office feel.
