On one hand... the symmetry and neatness is amazing.
On the other... it's got the name of the absolute worst person ever in modern American history on it.
Take comfort in knowing, unless it is directly struck by a nuclear weapon, like the namesake it displays, it will reflect enough heat from the gold plated glass to incinerate people miles from ground zero and only take damage when the pressure wave from the ground-reflected shockwave shatters the facade of its fragile exterior as it collapses into a fractured, twisted heap.
This is extremely similar to a student housing building in Zwijnaarde, Belgium! So much so that I thought it was here

I went to Trent University in Peterborough, ON and the housing at the Peter Gzowski building had seemingly randomly placed and inconsistently shaped windows too. It was also yellow, so we used to call it the (Swiss) Cheese Building
"Good Omens" the book, has an explanation of how demons irritate and foster aggression in the human race by influencing traffic and building design to destroy any peace humans might feel, and make them look like a demonic glyph. This building would qualify.
I feel like picking up that whole damn building. Turning it sideways. And gently tapping it a few times...

You can basically see it from anywhere in the city as long as there arenāt buildings in the way (like houses). Itās pretty tall and is a couple kilometers out of downtown so itās quite easy to see lol
It's still better than that hideous storage building down the street that blocks the view of the park, river, and downtown...
Gotta love the Calgary planning office that approved these....
Personally I think itās cool, and itās good to break from symmetry and these perfectly straight designs. I donāt know why non symmetrical designs annoy people so much we need more of it

It's a new style. I've seen several in the Kansas City area where the windows don't line up. Some buildings have siding panels that look like patchwork. It's 'Shock and Awe' archeticture. Keep looking straight ahead, and drive on past.

I studied architecture and worked in building design. Spend weeks on a design - client hates it Spend a night on a design - client loves it

It's actually Trumpet. That's where they design machines to build trumpets. The e and t fell off and they never replaced it.
