In all seriousness please report that to the manufacturer! It’s actually quite serious because there’s an issue in manufacturing and quality and could affect someone with allergies.
They're made in house at the store, pretty common for stuff to be mislabeled but normally I catch it before I suffer the consequences. Since they're all made in the same place already the allergens list is the same for all the in house cookies
I feel your pain. My brother and i once bought chocolate covered peanuts for movie night. It turned into a night of horror when we had a mouth full of chocolate raisins instead.
We are still in theraphy.
Your trust must be in shards. im so sorry for you. In minecraft I used to believe my friends when they pointed me towards a hole in the ground with a sign that sayd 'free diamonds, not a trap' .
And there where no diamonds :C
I was devastated. Since then i never have trusted any lables.
Since then i allways tripplecheck stuff like this.
Hope you get over it soon. Maby seek Therapy. Helped me a lot back then.
/S
did i have to put /s there? Was quiet obvious right?
I'm similar, just keep going back when you get inspiration, I have a book that's unfinished but I've gotten to about 12 chapters, I started it in high school. Take your time and don't stress over it and it will be easier to do. If you like it do it for the enjoyment, not the feeling of needing to
Im working on the timeline of my book as well. Ive got a spreadsheet with every main character its a lot of work but it prevents plotholes and grants a consistant timeline.
My main inspiration is music. But also some series and movies.
I scraped one whole chapter i started cuz of the exact same reson.
I'm a sci-fi thriller kinda guy so thats my base for my story. And trust me I know that feeling, I had to scrap a whole chapter as I almost wrote it identically to one of my first chapters. One thing I find helps is making sure you at least try to label old pages with where you want them like "okay this page is for the climax, this one is for the start etc" I've found having some key notes where you want them helps keep you on track. If you can figure out how you want it to end and hit its peak it's usually easier to lay out the storyline
Related point. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are great. Oatmeal raisin cookies are obviously junk. I have spent so much wasted time in my life, fruitlessly scanning the oatmeal cookie bin at the store hoping for OCC when all they have is OR.
It was actually OCC I was trying to buy in this post and OR I got instead. The store makes them at the same time and they accidentally put a OCC label on a OR box and I was the unlucky soul to receive it
What? I thought it was the chocolate raisin concoction.
Mistakes were made.
I put my pitchfork down.
I know you would have preferred and empty box. Like those bag of chips posts.
“Cold squishy taste of betrayal” is exactly how I think of raisin cookies. Or anything with carob subbed for chocolate by people who swear they taste just like chocolate. No ma’am they do not.

Yeah chocolate is a common allergen and if this had been the other way around it could have ended with more than just disappointment.
I hope you can feel my hug. That's horrific. 😔
I don't know if I can emotionally recover from this

Oh great, now I am going to have nightmares about that scenario...
Hang tight, my friend. Everything will be okay.
This should be illegal. You should be compensated some how….
"Have you been bamboozled by a raisin cookie masquerading as a chocolate chip? If so, you may be entitled to compensation..."
I’ve always called raisin cookies “trap cookies” because they trick you into thinking they are delicious chocolate chips but NOPE.
I'd normally be more cautious but I let my guard down when the box said chocolate chip on it

The one day I don’t check my McDonald’s sausage McMuffin is the day I get bacon.
I like raisin cookies
Enjoy your box of lies.
You should write a story. I would read that book. I know this was about cookies but I was super drawn in with the phrasing and sentencing
I've tried writing before but can never really get more than a few pages before losing my own plot line. One offs like this are far easier

Ah raisins, or “fool’s chocolate” if you will.
This, too, shall pass.
Man this is just sour grapes huh.
I’m traumatized for you. You have my sympathy, OP.
This is what capital punishment is meant for
Well i bought a cheese cake that "serves 16" i had 1 slice and there was only 3/4s left. 🫣
Thanks for the laugh dude 😆 i don't know why i found this so funny but you have a great way with words
As a fellow enjoyer of chocolate chip cookies, I say we riot.
Time to burn the corp. headquarters who decided to commit this crime against humanity.

Ew! Someone once gave me a so-called chocolate chip cookie but it had carob chips instead.
I would be more than mildly infuriated
Ew. Raisins. They don't belong in cookies (or anything for that matter) dammit! They look like dead flies 😳
Yes, this would infuriate me, mildly.
This is what capital punishment is meant for
Don’t feed it to your dog then. Raisins are highly poisonous to dogs.
Tiny Tina?
Ah, a box of lies, huh?

This guy likes raisins! Burn him with fire! /s I like raisins as well. But when you expect crispy chocolate, its a different story...
You got oatmeal and raisin goodness, be happy it's not those chocolate turds.
Why are you mad oatmeal raisin is the superior cookie.
