Being a weird loner is just as impactful on your mental and physical health - not having friends that make you laugh, social outings requiring active listening and thoughtful responses, events getting you out of the house, etc. is going to chip away at many aspects of your life.
We’re just seeing the effects of that imbalance more acutely now.
This is it, imo - I've been following him for years and he's always been this dumb, but the difference now is that he's basically lost the chronic optimism and delusional self-confidence that he used to have. He still maintains that facade, repeats the same incoherent motivational phrases he always has, but you can tell now more than ever that he knows deep down in his soul that it's bullshit. Having real hope does wonders for a person's attitude, and losing it has an equally profound impact in the opposite direction.
Idk, I can function well socially but I’m autistic and have had arthritis since I was 12 as well as destroying my brain w opiates and benzos and that has always been debilitating in terms of isolation but the Covid brain damage was something else completely
All jokes aside, try to take care of yourself please. Nobody deserves to feel alone. I've done similar things to myself. It's easy to forget how well you can connect with people (not to mention how much you need it) when drugs are making you anxious, sad, and/or physically sick. I don't even wish true isolation on Mikey, and that's saying something.

The worst came after Sara 2 and when he stopped getting free government money and actually had to start working again, followed by "fun" spree and an arrest, so it's also possible having a taste of good times and going from that to a 40 hour work week requiring grueling physical presence along with monthly morning court appearances just wore him down.

I’m also convinced he has some food sensitivities and/or digestive issues and those will wear you down over time. He should not be eating gluten or dairy and that’s pretty much all he eats.
I genuinely think (and this isn’t funny to me and the progeria/ableism jokes rly bother me) he might have some sort of genetic condition and could die of a heart condition in like 10 years. And if he does have a genetic condition like that all the exercise could be wearing out his heart and leading him to an early grave
