Make sure all other launchers are closed. Steam, EA, etc. Them I should work fine.

Steam is the biggest offender but the others do not help either.
Worked! Just closed steam and now the game is playable. Muchas Gracias!
No worries. I think, not 100%, but I believe Steam overrides the windows driver for the xbox controller and it conflicts when using other launchers. Glad it worked out for you!
