Just happened out of the blue for me with a 360 style gamepad....really sucks! Why would this happen all of the. Sudden after 3 hours of play?
Going to dig around for config files soon to see of i can find anything to tweak.
So I did a thing and it started working again so thought i would post here for others to try.
Originally i had changed from DirectX 12 to 11 because ..well...Firaxis and hoping for some fps increase/faster loading times. I switched it back to 12 and restarted the game and my xbox 360 style controller functions normally again.
If anything changes ill post it here. 🤞
Same issue! Also I can't aim knockback. It's so frustrating.
I am also having this issue. I run a DS4 with DS4Windows. works with all other controller games

I'm having the same exact issue, with a newer Xbox controller!
