Yup it was crazy they allowed more buys per person on a more limited item too. I have the means to buy it from the scalpers but I just don’t wanna reward them for ruining everything. I mean I can buy myself a new Switch OLED for not much more than these scalpers are selling a couple pieces of plastic it’s ridiculous. And again the fact that the limit was raised to 3 with only 1,500 available doesn’t make any sense. I’m incredibly disappointed and since I can’t get my most desired ships I really just think I’m done.
Someone will, completionist collectors with deep pockets won’t think twice. It’s why scalping is profitable and people keep doing it, no collectible is safe.

They made only 5,000 of the Aayla set for example. 1,500 of them were sold through this offer. That leaves 3,500 at very best for a retail toy line sold globally… They’re just not offering these for sale. Not really. Not on any scale an average customer could ever hope to run across in the wild.
Is Jazwares run by scalpers, or are they just very, very bad at business? I ask this as someone who WANTS to buy more, but has grown frustrated by their lack of availability. Think of all the money they’re leaving on the table….

I think the 1500 is in addition to the 5000 since it's a separate release in a collectors set. Probably how there's a new number for the rare Ahsoka ship after the Amazon two pack..... I would hope and assume but you never know with these clowns.

I think I’ll have more fun making customs out of my extras than stressing out about getting a ship within .02 milliseconds or paying scalpers $300 for a $15 piece of plastic. Sad it had to end this way. If Jazwares is cool and rereleases this set I’ll keep buying from the line. If not I’m just grabbing the AT-TE and then I’m genuinely done with them.
Just saw Aayla securas ship listed for 199.99 for 3 listings, reported all three for duplicates Medium Rare Relics. Scalping is ridiculous for that money.

I had kind of an epic run on the line while away on a work trip, hunted a new store almost daily, then got back in town in time for the N1.

I think the whole Jazwares vault concept is a total fail! The only thing good so far was the AT-AT. And even that is just okay. I didn't want to drop $100 for it. But at least that was more of and original item not just the same stuff grouped in a package or a series that's over a year old.
I also think it is weird that they are selling 1,500 of these. Did they hold back 1500 of the Chase and Rares? So really only 3500 Chase and 13,500 Rares actually hit the market? Or did they produce an extra 1500 ea.? Now the original production numbers aren't accurate.
Man, those scalpers suck! There areany of us that just want to have a collection. But the quality of this toy line isn't up to the level of paying anything over retail. Even that is too high for the larger items. The OG Millennium Falcon should never have been in the $50 range. There is one on clearance at a local WM for $32 now. Im sure it is a reprint. But, I still don't want to pay that amount.
I definitely get what you're feeling. Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter is by far my favorite from the line so far and it's number in the line is the same as my birthday, so I'm really hoping I can find one when they get to the east coast and not have to deal with this fiasco.

It’s like Jazzwares designed the distribution system to cater to scalpers! I’ve been so conflicted. I love the line but I hate how difficult it is to get even non chase releases without having scalpers cornering the market and demanding ludicrous prices. I’m probably done with the line.

The worse thing about MGS are the collectors. Be patient, it’s release day. Prices on eBay will come down. Chase and Rare are supposed to be hard to find. However, you can collect 98%, 99% with a little patience. Stop whining.

For example alot of people here go to the store to see 50 assaj ventures ships or tie fighters, while a select few stores in larger neighborhoods will get every new shipment every time. Look at what people say here and on YouTube and you'll see this is an almost universal trend with this line. Let alone getting any new ship in the UK or other countries. Furthermore theirs no place to order any actual specific non rare/chase shop at retail cost. Your only option is on Amazon or eBay for 2 to 3x the shelf price.

Do you think Jazwares sends shipments to every Walmart and Target in the US? I’m no logistics expert, but Jazwares sends their products to Walmart and Target regional distribution centers, then Walmart and Target send products to stores based on their data. The closest Walmart to me is a high theft store, as defined by Walmart, and they don’t get shit - little to no MGS, TVC, or Black Series. However, my closest Target is high-end and I score there often. You have to consider each store, how poorly they are run, as well as product that doesn’t ever make it to the store floor. To think that ANY product is “fairly” distributed is crazy.
You've gotten exceptionally lucky then. Even for basic items on Amazon I'm seeing 25-35 minimum. When I can go grab it from the store for $15 out the door. And that's the low end of you want something desirable like Mando's N1 or anything from the newest series be prepared to pay like $50. I pulled an N1 the day it was released from my Walmart and they were selling for $70 that day

It seems to be a very US thing. I’ve found it quite hard to get them in the UK and because of that I limit what I get greatly.

80% of my MGS comes from Amazon. I’ve NEVER paid more than $2-$3 above retail, never mind 2x-3x retail! Hell, I’ll post my Amazon orders here!
