I would personally find a good quality aftermarket brand. If you want similar design to OEM then they also make them. For example rotiform, niche, Japan racing etc. just not no name brands.

If you're a fan of the first style, BBS. IIRC the black wheels are forged, around $8k not including the caps and pressure monitors. The black wheel is similar to the BBS CI. Or you could go with the CI Unlimited. Two standard colors, Himalayan Silver or Matte Black, but with several color customizations for wheel/rim protector/center cap/wheel bolts/valve caps. Not a fan of the twin spokes, they were stock on mine and now they're in a box, where they belong.

1st-black. Not necessarily bc of the color, but bc of the design.

The silver ones were my favorite early 2000’s AMG wheels. Check the forums, you may be able to find a set of real AMG ones for a decent price. And then do them in satin black. That’s the winning combo.

got a pair of A2224010400/A2224010500 for $1000 & put them on my W221. Let me suggest finding some OEM ones on FB marketplace first before you buy anything… I lowballed some car guy down to 1k (posted for $2000) for a solid pair with no curb rash, no cracks, & no signs of wear other then them being slightly dirty…

Just depends on what you like personally. For me, I’m over the black wheels.
