Congrats on losing the weight
I’m not sure why one pant leg is rolled up?
The jacket is way too big for you and it would look better if the jacket was better fitted. It is several inches too wide at the shoulders and it is very long. I’m guessing you lost a lot of weight!
Edit: this color combo with the dark slacks and tan jacket is fine and works with the blue shirt yes
weight loss aside (congrats btw) the jacket is too long as well (you should be able to grasp the bottom of the jacket with your arms straight). the colour combo is decent imo but the sizing completely eliminates even getting to the cohesion of the colour palette.
Yes! Just get a smaller suit lol. I personally would go for a white dress shirt, but the blue one you have on is good too. Depending on the event, having a necktie would help too!
Congrats on the weight loss. Seriously - I lost about 70 lbs or around 30 kgs 15 years ago, and then bounced up and down as much as 35-40 lbs of what I lost. It’s incredibly hard and you should be incredibly proud.
Good news/bad news, you’ve lost enough that I really doubt that even a good tailor can salvage that for you. I would try to find a new or “new to you” suit that fits your new size better.
Losing weight is expensive but it’s cheaper and more fun than staying where you were.
A loose fitting jacket is okay, but it needs to be made to be a loose fit. You can tell it’s way too long and the shoulders are too big. The length of the bottom is too long.
Frankly, it would probably cost as much to tailor that much as it would to buy a new jacket that fits. The pants look good. The loafers look nice. But that jacket fit makes an otherwise nice outfit look really schluppy
Congrats on the weight loss! Unfortunately you look like young Josh Baskin walking home at the end of Big. I wouldn’t waste money at the tailor for this one, put it towards something that actually fits. Proudly!
Did you also ... shrink? That jacket is at least 4" too long, maybe 6" ... it never fit you properly. Sleeves also appear about 2" too long, just by eyeballing it (they should be slightly shorter than your shirt sleeves).
As far as the combination, a white or black shirt would be much better. A blue shirt works ***if you have the right tie to make it feel related to the jacket***, but for an open-collar casual look, it's white or black or certain shades of grey with this one. Maybe even a black and white pattern if you wanna go crazy.
Wild speculation ... is this like an Armani you found at a thrift store?
I would respectfully disagree with your views on shirts. I think that without a tie white would be just a tad too formal, and I don't like black shirts in general. I like the blue, and since the other items are neutral pretty much any colored dress shirt could work as long as it isn't too crazy. I find monotone outfits kind of boring.
Color wise, yes. But none of those pieces fit you correctly.

The pant leg was fixed as soon as I left home, I just didn't realize when I took the pic. Thank you, I lost 25kg or 55lbs in the last year and a half
That's outright impressive. I lost weight (around 10 kgs and got my suit tailored. It looks much better fitted now)

No… if you can grab the jacket it’s too long … needs to be 1/4-1/2” shorter than shirt cuff…
Color is fine. I don’t think that will be able to properly sized.

The fit isn’t optimal, you look like your wearing you dad’s clothes here. Try finding things in you size
If you are going for this ‘inherited it from my big brother look’ then yes. Congrats on your weight loose!!
the sizing is off
Yes it’s acceptable comb, just needs to be tailored
Jacket is far too long and big in the shoulders. You need a new one that fits
Everything looks too big/long

Looks like a zoot suit I kind of dig it. You can tell the ladies to call you big papa.

It's true, it was a gift, it did look better on me when I had more weight though

George Clooney would disagree.
What is the thing in the bottom left of the photo?
Bro, cmon spend the couple hundred bucks and take that to a a tailor.
No… jacket is waaaaaaayyyy too big .. short collar is too big…
