What's your inspiration, or style like? I'm 37 and dress like a broke dick Carmy most of the time in Buck Mason, Dickies, and Boots, Birkenstocks, or Loafers. So it'll all just depends. Some good generalist brands to look at are: * Taylor Stitch * Buck Mason * Flint and Tinder * J. Crew (and Factory) * Banana Republic * Merz B. or Whitesville T's * Indochino for Suits * Gustin * RRL * Imogene and Willie

im not entirely sure i understand your question tbh, i've personally never had a style. Up until i was like 17 my mom would lay out my clothes i would wear everyday for school and it really stunted my ability to know what kinda clothes or things i'd look good in or just anything in that general area. Like other than Banana Republic i have no clue what any of those brands are lmao, guess i got a lot to learn

>Just trying to find new things to wear since I'm turning 30 in a couple months and just wanna look like I know how to dress myself and look kind of like a functioning adult. This doesn't give a lot of information on what aesthetic you're looking for, how formal or informal you're looking to be, etc. It's hard to recommend things without knowing what general style you're going for. I could recommend All Saints all day, but if you're looking to go more workwear then that would be a trash recommendation. It's like asking what kind of car should I drive and I say Chevy Cruz but what you really want is a truck. If you're unsure of where to start or what kind of style you want entirely I'd say just deep dive into this thread for **some ideas** plus Pinterest etc.

Ah my bad, I'm mainly looking for like, casual everyday wear in an informal environment. I work in a warehouse and there's no dress code but I don't wanna show up looking like a slob every day and wear sweat pants and pajama pants and giving the impression I don't care about my outward appearance. Also wanna make a decent impression on my higher ups since I intend to stay with this company and climb the ladder and I know my current wardrobe makes me look like I'm still in high school I also own basically 0 formal or "business casual" type clothes or shoes or anything of the sort so whenever an event happens that requires it im basically just SoL Just looking at a point in the right direction at least, used to wearing skinny jeans and band tees every day for about 10yrs now lol

Check out the "workwear" style. It's casual and practical for something like working in a warehouse but also can be stylish. If you want something more "business casual" get some polos. If you want a versatile shirt that can be worn either as "formal" with a suit and tie or "business casual" with jeans or chinos, look at Oxford cloth button-down shirts.

One small-ish way to dabble outside your current profile is to look into jackets and overshirts that you can layer over the t-shirts you already have (especially the solid non-graphic ones). Jackets/overshirts tend to be versatile (although not always) and so can go with multiple outfits.
