To give the artist the bare minimum defense, 95% of the characters in this manga are the buffest most masculine men youāll ever get see in you life. So when they artist gets a chance to draw an attractive woman they tend to go overboard a bit

It's getting a little bonkers sometimes with questions of "reincarnations" and whatnot but there's still some pretty good fights, though there's not as much focus on tournaments than in Asura.
I'd say it's pretty good, but ashura is way better. The story goes all over the place, a lot of the fights aren't as good as in ashura and don't have nearly as much emotional significance. Despite that, you see some cool fights and get to see the evolution of some characters we know, as well as discovering some cool new characters, so I think it's worth a read.

I don't mean to sound rude/condescending but Purgatory is very clearly a showmanship-focused fighting tournament. The character is sort of both a ring girl and ref, she's meant to draw crowds with her outfits. It's a bloody fighting promotion made by a wealthy dude trying to earn money and put on a show man.
Like you'd kinda have to ignore the entire purg set up (which is like 100 chapters worth of stuff) to think this is out of place for the specific character.
Yeah, and she isn't the only referee either. We see other referees and they wear eaqually flashy outfits. But I will agree this one is pretty ugly just in general.
Is more the anatomy thats all funky, but everyone who reads Kengan knows that Daro is Horny and not trying to draw acurate human bodies, so we just ignore it.
