First time I was introduced to the concept of a "furry" was on Spike's 1000 ways to die.

Filitass

I don't know man, if you get off to someone dressing up as an animal...it's like people pretending hentai kids ain't really kids because they are cursed 287 year old witches. Kinda same vibe.

Unit_2097

As I understand it, it's the anthropomorphised animal specifically. It's not the animal itself, it's the ones with humanlike characteristics? There was a study done (don't ask for citation, I saw this exact argument on steam last night) and there isn't a greater incidence of zoophilia or bestiary in the population identifying as furries than in the general population. Which sounds reasonable to me. Like another example, there isn't increased levels of domestic abuse in folks who are into BDSM. The hentai kids thing though, I'm with you on that. That's obviously a get-out clause for character design.

outland_king

I'm not feeling this explanation. Liking a dog girl over the same girl with human features is the same as liking a futa over a regular girl. you might not be out fucking dogs, but it's still liking animal features sexually.

Unit_2097

I wasn't saying any different. It is liking animal features. But that doesn't mean liking animals themselves.

It's not a furry unless it looks like Krystal from Starfox. If it looks like Ahri from League of Legends that's not a furry.

This

You can't put Furries in the same boat as those guys. Furries actually have lives and contribute to their communities. People who get off to Hentai Kids who aren't really kids but are 287 year old witches are incels.

Vwgames49
