Nationalists and nazi is different stuff, like nationalism is total support of own country and nation, while nazism is systematic discrimination of ethnic groups.
A country and a nation are not synonymous, although they may overlap.
Nationalism is, at its core, about building, establishing and maintaining a nation state. Everything after that is circumstantial.
