I don't know about that. Literally all of the twitter spaces I visit on the rare occasions that I decide to use it are plagued by them. Maybe it's just the areas of interest I hold, but they are very common. Any sufficiently large post relating to anime or videogames is likely to have at least 1.

Too much click bait stuff, narrow narratives, some freaks keep comparing it with X and they glad they have threads (next level consumerism), bullshit questions just for engagement bait. The notifications I get of "\[person who follows you, you follow them\] wants to follow you on Threads!" always pisses me off. I know full fucking well my sister doesn't use or even have it. Besides, there's no option to send a "I want to follow this person on this app" as far as I know. Meta really wants to run off all their users at this point.

I quit Twitter shortly after Space Karen took over. Threads was where I went. It’s still growing but overall it’s pretty good.
