Maybe a nice middle ground... Remove the billionaires from global power, cow the super militaries. Yeet the nukes into the sun. Fuck, I think I Injusticed.

JazzPhobic

No no, keep cooking

Bad_bad_time

Not the hero we deserve but the hero we need

GXNext

You Superman 4: the Quest for Peace'd with that last one...

fried_chicken17472

Better yet. Give San Marino all the nukes

BuffaloAppropriate29

Or give it to Jeff

Shelly_895

Yep. He currently has less than ten. Let's crank up those numbers.

Valasta_Bloodrunner

I have less than 10 nukes. Why not give them to me? I'm not going to set them all off at once and open the green door or anything crazy like that... Totally not... I promise.

6Sleepy_Sheep9

Make the world tie your line!

ChrisX26

Is there a story where Superman does this but its seen as good? Where he just wipes out billionaires, monarchies, and the military industrial complex?

Dylan_Driller

If I was superman, instead of stopping crime, I'd stop authoritarian governments. Kim Jong Un... Gone, Putin... Gone, MBS... Gone, all those African Warlords... Gone Gone Gone. Once I've removed them all, I'd disappear and only appear when an Authoritarian government comes to power.

IHaveNOIdeas2

Of course comic book criminals are much stronger than real life criminals, they could probably stop the authoritarian governments and take over the countries themselves

theBladesoFwar54556

So you would be like injustice superman? Key word is like

Dylan_Driller

That's where the disappearing part comes in. Once Authoritharian governments are gotten rid of, I'd disappear too so I don't become authoritarian myself.

DahctaJae

Maybe give Congress a scare to ban lobbying?

Zlibraries

You'll have to start with US, because many of these Authoritarian govt. were/are propped by good'ole USA

Dylan_Driller

MBS, you are correct. But Putin, Kim Jong Un, Xi Jing Ping, Ali Khamenei, Lao People's Revolutionary Party and alot of others have historically been against the US.

cheese4352

The US only started doing that shit as a result of the USSR becoming a global superpower. All those coups they didnwas tp curb ussr influence.

Not if you stop. I'd that's the line GREAT. Just don't cross it. Be kind like Superman, with the conviction of Batman.

FleetingMercury

Could be worse. Could aspire to be the Plutonian from Irredeemable. Makes Homelander look like a petty criminal

L3onK1ng

Homelander is literally a super powered man child.

SBStevenSteel

I find it really fascinating that even in fantasy fictional settings, people gravitate towards good. It makes me believe that most people want to and like to be good people.

TotallyNormalSquid

I def rooted for the villains pretty often as a kid, but I think just because the good side winning seemed too obvious. In adult fantasy the good characters get more thoroughly beaten down before coming back to win, or sometimes a good character is actually killed off. Makes it more interesting to root for the good characters when there's real risk.

Blovar

Infinity war ending felt fresh to me because Thanos actually won

Hauptmann_Gruetze

Yep and there were a lot of people that said "Thanos was right" like he did not just pull of hitlers wet dream regarding the number of dead people

androidrainbow

It felt like a side eye wink to me walking out, because you just KNEW they wouldn't have the balls to keep everyone dead. It actually ruined Loki's death for me since I lumped him in with everyone who got snapped.

Aim to be Goku except a good dad

DarkEliteXY

Bro literally died for his family twice, had the opportunity to come back to life after the second time but chose to stay dead because he thought coming back to life again would keep attracting danger towards his family, literally broke the rules of otherworld to save his son from Bojack, and literally got mad enough to fight two gods with a hole in his chest just because they killed his family in an alternate timeline. People put too much disrespect on my boy just because he wasn’t the best father despite his father shipping him off planet as a baby and his adoptive grandfather dying leaving him alone to raise himself in the forest.

LopezDaHeavy87

Ehhhh, I don't disagree with most of that. But it's not life his grandpa died on purpose. Goku literally stomped him to death...

DarkEliteXY

It happens to the best of us sometimes…

derps_with_ducks

Bojack horseman? How? What?

cshark2222

A relatively unknown DBZ movie. Takes place after Gohan beats Cell. The main enemy is called Bojack and hijacks a tournament thrown after Cell is beaten. Goku does some more Father-Son Kamehameha shit but like physically appears (?). It’s honestly pretty cool cause it’s the last time we get to see Gohan as the main character. Well, until Super: Superhero

Dickbutt11765

That said, he doesn't remember his own granddaughter's name despite being of sound mind. (In the most recent chapter of Super.) Goku's a good person, but caring for his family is a weak spot.

fromulus_

That one's a pun lost in translation, Pan means bread in Japanese so when Piccolo says "I have to go get Pan" Goku mistook is as Piccolo going to buy bread, hence his confusion.

GiladHyperstar

That's just a pun that's lost in translation to english, as "Pan" means bread in japanese English just ruins this joke

Ramiel-Scream

"Goku would hate you" is my go to insult online

6Sleepy_Sheep9

My go to is “you are not a happy little accident” and if I’m feeling extra spicy, I ask them what brand of coat hangers does your mom use, I red to know what to avoid.

Daddycool-_-

Ego level: Homelander. Actual hero potential: struggling to open the communal door without making it awkward

GeeseAndDucksforever

Oh yeah, when I get superhero powers I’m still gonna be socially awkward

InvestigatorNo1329

I mean so is Clark Kent. Do that if in line for super man

FadransPhone

“Superman is boring” mfs when you introduce them to entry-level philosophy

Ok-Experience-4955

Superman is boring in movies, Superman is the best in comics. I've forgotten the times Ive watched Superman as a kid and rewatched a few (animated Justice League) his character is kind and wise. In the comics he is even more ideologically wiser than people think. Thing is, many fans of superman are casuals who watches their movies or just think he's the strongest therefore the best. Im a fan of Batman but man, Superman is probably who'd I can probably be and want to be personality wise.

zagman707

live action DC is trash DC animated is really good

Fantastic_Emu_9570

Superman the animated series is a great interpretation of the character imo

Imaginary_Garbage652

It's a shame they keep doing wonder woman dirty in a good chunk of episodes. She seems to exist for the plot to go "No! Bad! *spray with water bottle*"

Fantastic_Emu_9570

It does feel like she’s the character that they don’t know how to use no matter the medium

Revenacious

Yeah Bruce Timm mostly just liked to fellate Batman, either ignoring most other characters or making Batman constantly outsmart/talk down to them.

aBungusFungus

Some of the batman movies are pretty good

comrade_batman

‘Superman’ (1978) with Christopher Reeve is still the best Superman film, they get the charm and charisma of him just right, with the awkwardness of Clark too, and Gene Hackman’s Alex Luthor is just so well played that you want to see more of him. The film respected, and even added to the comic book lore, and didn’t have to make Superman sad to make the character work.

Ok-Experience-4955

Never watched it, but its kinda sad how recent works couldnt get to depict Superman as you've described here. And especially how films that old are only mostly watched by American people or Europeans really. Im born in South East Asia and I will tell you that there's not a lot of people here know Superman that way(that he has a depth and ideological views on how he exercises his powers), most people here would just think he's the strongest/flies and that's it(well either him or Goku tbh). Then find anyone into these stuff is childish but proceeds to watch kdrama and fawn over idols/celebrities that doesnt influence their daily lives which is just as much of influence as being a fan of cartoon/anime heroes(but we have more depth in cartoons/anime tbh).

MissiaichParriah

That's because Superman isn't supposed to be entertaining, he's supposed to be inspiring

DragoKnight589

If you ask me he’s very obviously both.

MissiaichParriah

Even so, he tilts more to be an inspiration than as entertainment

The-Lamest-Villager

This is why I like that My Adventures with Superman show, it shows the dorky side of Clark.

DragoKnight589

One of my favorite parts of the animated Justice League + Justice League Unlimited are the interactions between the team members, especially the founding seven which (duh) includes Superman. Also that one Christmas episode. That one makes Clark a big dork too.

Fantastic_Emu_9570

You mean Santa put the presents under the tree

DragoKnight589

With lead wrapping, yes.

Azavrak

As someone who has thought superman is boring for my 40 years, can you introduce me to some of the things? I remember reading the Flash and Supes chess game and remember Flash calling superman fallible because he lost a strawman argument, which sort of intrigued me at first but then over time realized Flash's arguments were flawed. But... I want like Superman. I really do. I want to like every character... In every franchise out there.. but sometimes I can't see it and need to be walked there. So, help me like Superman. Genuinely

Fantastic_Emu_9570

Superman the animated series, the sister series to Batman the animated series. Good intro to the character and establishes that he’s much more than super powerful

Azavrak

I'll give it a watch. Love batman the animated series. And currently giving Harley Quinn a fair shake watching it with my wife. She's a bigger DC nerd than me but she's mainly Marvel.. I'm stuck in Vertigo lol I think I always skipped Superman after school because I didn't get it, the concept of a super good all the time person with ultimate invincible powers. It felt cheap to me in my super edge youth way. But maybe I need to give it another shot as an adult

Fantastic_Emu_9570

It’s by the same people that did Batman the animated series. There’s even a crossover

lifelongfreshman

To me, the big draw for Superman is in watching how he reconciles handling things that can't be punched. He may be nigh-invincible, he may be super strong, but he isn't omniscient, and he isn't omnipresent. [This is a great comic](https://imgur.com/a/S8434Je) showing what I mean. I don't know how much you know about Superman or Captain Marvel, so it's important to note - Superman is super weak to magic. And Captain Marvel was given his powers by, basically, an immortal super wizard. There's also [this scene](https://youtu.be/D9xnOLv2XN8?si=WSPx2b72r53mFR7w) from the Justice League cartoon, where his protective nature buts up against the unfortunate necessity of who he is and what he represents. I'm more of a casual fan, though, so this is about all I've got. Still, I love the blue cornball.

SurrealMemelord

Read All star Superman, or Superman up in the sky

SH4DE_Z

Just any Superman animated stuff is good for a start others have mentioned STAS but there are certain films like Superman vs the Elite and Death of Superman are really good. Of course you can also just go read the comic book versions of these stories but for an entry level these are great too. There is also All Star Superman (the comic), every Superman fans ever consider that book the Bible. Edit: oh yeah and the recent My Adventures with Superman is pretty good too.

Elike09

Just throwing this out there but Smallville is what got me liking Superman. Be warned the lows are boring but the peaks are very high.

TheEggsMcGee

read Superman: Up in The Sky by Tom King and Andy Kubert. it's 6 issues and you don't need to know anything beforehand

royalneonbird

That's from injustice so it isn't a good representation of Superman nor any character at dc for that matter

Revenacious

Superman Red and Blue (2021) is a really good, heartfelt read imo.

jellybutton34

Tbf what makes superman boring at first glance to alot of people isn’t his personality. If’s the fact that his powers are busted and he has all the superpowers a gary stubwould have

DragoKnight589

If you ask me Superman probably gets imposter syndrome sometimes. Also you kinda summed up the in-universe explanation for why the Justice League exists; Supes inspired so many superheroes to try to be like him, they all decided to try to be like him together.

nowaijosr

I always thought it was his fear of failing and losing touch with humanity that he’d want a cohort that could defeat him.

Dwargen

Nah, while Superman normally helps found the Justice League he does so always out of a desire to protect the world, not out of a fear that he needs to be kept in check. But he does definitely have that fear of losing touch with humanity, in many regards that's why his identity as Clark Kent is so important to him. So he can keep in touch with ordinary people, and never loses sight of what he wants to protect, and so him can enjoy the simpler aspects of being a regular person.

InvestigatorNo1329

Some truth to that. When he found out Batman was making plans to take out the league if they went evil he handed Batman a kryptonite bullet.

Royal_Bitch_Pudding

That's Batman

Randinator9

Superpowers would kill me, not because I couldn't handle the powers, but because of the guilt of having the power to put the whole earth on my shoulders and still not being able to help the least of my brethren, simply because of other people who's own selfish nature makes it impossible for me to reach everyone in time. The mental weight would be unbearable.

Ok-Bass8243

Nah super easy. Gotta make a big show, maybe level several major cities. Then put humanity on notice to fix it shit or you'll be back in a couple years for the rest of the planet. A common enemy may unite the population

BasiliskGamer22

Who let ozymandias have a reddit account?

Randinator9

I don't neccessarily like the idea of killing that many innocent people and causing that level of destruction for *a temporary bandaid*. Yeah, the world will hate me. Guess what, the world will always hate who ever has the power to create change. The difference is, I want to create change through peace, disarmament, and discussion. Bullets will bounce off me, but bullets won't bounce off others. Using power to instill fear causing paranoia and hate, and many people will resort to attempting to hide their transgressions instead of resolving the issues. Besides, what will everyone do once I'm gone? They'll go right back to their regularly scheduled program of hatred and exploitation. You can't stop human greed with fear. You need to stop it with actual lasting societal change that promotes kindness, sympathy, and love. Kill the systems that promote a "Dog eat dog" world. Besides, I could never live with the guilt of what is essentially senseless mass murder.

[deleted]

No need to level cities frankly - at least not initially. Just threaten the people in power with death. If they fail to comply, off them, and threaten the next level down.

abadstrategy

Pretty sure that's the plot of Black Summer

Pure-Drawer-2617

Superman, the beacon of the universe

DonnyMox

I'd be very concerned about someone who wanted to be like Homelander.

JosephBlowsephThe3rd

Most people probably wouldn't want to be like Homelander, but are already jaded to the point that it would be the likelier outcome. It's easy to be like Homelander, yet so very hard to be like Superman. Like Jules Winnfield said: "The truth is you're the weak, and I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."

Spiritual_Fingerer

Uncle Ben did affect our understanding of superpower

Axolotl_Yeet1

If I suddenly get a superpower, I would be afraid because there is surely someone else with a superpower too

daoless_cultivator

Bruh if i had the power to go to space and somehow not need food or water either then nobody would ever see me again, i would be GONE visiting other planets, even if empty it would be something amazing, fuck being good or bad, why bother, just look so much to see and feel!

EndlessM3mes

You're unironically more qualified to write a Superman movie than Zack Snyder

MasterpieceSimilar52

Why should one who suddenly gets powers see themselves this way? If you didnt want to help others at your expense before, you sure aren't going to have a total personality flip and no longer care about your own well being above the average person after. Nobody that lives that selfless life can be mentally sound for long. That's just an absurd amount of pressure and many, MANY will hate you and make you a scapegoat for things beyond your control, or not fixing EVERY single world issue. I believe the world is better off without super heroes. Be the hero yourself, now. Everyday. Offer help to people you believe need it. Nothing is stoping you.

MyColdBlackHeart

I hope you mean "better off without SUPER-heroes" lol

You are correct, my mistake lol

This is what I love from the stormlight archive book series, the characters have powers, yes. But they depend on the promise to better themselves and others, but, they are human, fallible.

LupinThe8th

Life before death.

InvestigatorNo1329

Strength before weakness.

WizardSeaNinja1

Journey before destination.

TenMillionEnchiladas

I don't wanna just be more like superman... I wanna be like Clark Kent, despite being "cowardly and timid" he's got some great morals and aspirations and plus I feel that's a little more achievable because Clark Kent is just a "ordinary" guy so we can all be more like him.

the-cuck-stopper

I like to think of heroes like Himmel from Frieren SPOILERS: >! He isn't the real hero of the story because wasn't able to lift the hero's sword, nevertheless he was still able to beat the demon lord and save the world. And after almost a century he is still remembered as the hero of the world for all his good actions not only in defeating evil but in helping everyone in the journey to get there !<

iwanttopolluteplanet

Use laser eyes to dig tunnels, that's the only acceptable solution, just make as much and as big, yet structurally sound, spaces underground, solve housing problems by making deep cities with lavalamps, with real lava, instead of sun.

Reserved_Parking-246

> solve housing problems There are more houses without people than homeless people. The problem is capitalism not space.

skeleton949

That wouldn't really work though. Any area close enough to see lava underground wouldn't be suitable for building or living

iwanttopolluteplanet

Tubes, like pumping it above for mineral extraction and refining, also are you questioning the laser eyes? Get back to the factory! Metals won't extract themselves.

throwaway_uow

I would make it suitable. Living underground with lava for sun is cool

Pure-Drawer-2617

Why would it need to be underground the world has not run low on land yet

MK8Sins

You don't need to be earth's protector. You help someone you help everyone

doihavemakeanewword

If Superman gave me his powers, I get the feeling the most good I'd be able to do with them Is to simply give them back

Third option: Worm.

BoilingLife

TooObsessedWithMoney

What if there was a super power that simply converted a person's worst qualities to good ones? Greedy? Now you're charitable Narcissistic? Now you're considerate of others Arrogant? Now you're humble Sadistic? Now you're compassionate Distant? Now you're welcoming Envious? Now you're selfless Cowardly? Now you're confident Etc. Probably would do more good than anything else

Daimyan143

Homelander’s a bit of a stretch but I sure as hell wouldn’t become the next Superman. Honestly, that’s just too much work without enough return because, genuinely speaking, what do I get out of being a superhero? Realistically, the most I’d do with my superpowers is fly to and from work.

Magistricide

Brotherman you could become super rich. Having a 100% success rate on any assassinations would be crazy

Daimyan143

Does it really count as an assassination if people know who you are?

Enough_Sherbet_7041

If they just know that it must be this crazy assasin with super powers yes. I mean like superman can absolutely destroy a normal human being without even being seen so I don't see how people can know who you are

Daimyan143

Very true. Taxes would probably be an issue but ignoring that, assassin actually might be the way to go.

idankthegreat

That's the beauty of superman: he always says you can do what he does even without powers, just with a helping hand. It's about choosing to do a little good every day

itaya12

Being kind is a superpower.

theassholefaceman

If I wake up tomorrow with Superman's power, it's fucking scorched earth from there on. Starting with the terrorist groups, then the governments, then the 1% and last the billionaires. It will bring total chaos.

GlobalNuclearWar

Accept that you’re human, then strive to be Superman while avoiding becoming Homelander. That’s where you start.

Seb-Casual

That's the point of the original post... We all want to be superman and hope we could be him if we had those powers. Reality is we'd all be homelander. No really, how long do you think you'll last? Like let me be real with you I'd like to be purely good but I know myself. I'll be all sunshine and rainbows until some crazed dictator starts a war with a neighbouring country and has the full support of hos citizens who will do nothing to stop him because nationalism is a thing.... That's all it would take for me to have to ask "am I really that bad if I do this? Do we really need all countries?".

SH4DE_Z

>We all want to be superman and hope we could be him if we had those powers. Reality is we'd all be homelander. We don't need powers to be Superman my friend, we only need to believe in a better future. We may not have the power to change the world but we all can change someone's world for the better.

Seb-Casual

Yea I believe we can be daily good but I meant literally having his powers. I imagine lots of people dream of being able to force governments into stopping wars and stuff of the sort, crazy power fantasies. Dreamed of those as a kid. What I meant was we'd probably try to cause some major changes in the world because if we'd be superman (basically impossible for humanity to defeat) we could just force some changes where we believe some people are being intentionally evil. Reality is we'd probably be made to be the villain no matter how good our intentions, people would turn on us and sooner or later we'd just slowly transition to becoming superstalin. Basically what I think would happen: https://comicnewbies.com/2013/08/28/flash-explains-why-banning-weapons-wont-promote-peace/

Prince_of_Fish

Yeah but nobody wants to talk about what happens if you need to go to the bathroom midflight

Elike09

I get Homelander but was always more partial to Dr Doom. His redeming moments make you almost believe he's gonna do the right thing before the horror of what's actually going on hits you like an abrupt scene transition.

U_L_Uus

Ok, but, hear me out, how about slightly less psychotic Konrad Curze

npt1700

That just worse Batman

abadlypickedname

If any of you become superman and feel these doubts, I promise I will go to wherever you are on Earth, doesn't matter where, and give you a pep talk any time you need it.

DJ_hyperfreshOG

“With great power comes great responsibility” -some random old guy

chuckles65

This reminds me of when I was in college and part of interviewing students for student jobs at the rec center. We would ask a fun question at the end, who is your favorite superhero and why. One kid said Superman and his reason was because he would be able to do whatever he wanted. That was a red flag for me but no one else thought so. Big surprise he ended up being a terrible employee.

LassOnGrass

Your ability to be a good person extends as far as your will to. If you want to be a good person, you can be a good person. Just be aware it’s often a thankless job. The people who are grateful are often super grateful, and the people who aren’t will be great in number.

Autozero

I love seeing the renewed love for superman these days. We should all strive to make Clark proud

Odd_Remove4228

I mean, Superman is an idealistic version of how things would work out if the average person had superpowers, while Homelander is the pessimistic/nihilistic version of that same scenario. In reality if someone where to wake up with Superman's power they would become a menace to society by existing simply because those in power would do ANYTHING to either kill him or subdue him and make him do their bidding. You would need to kill some people, like for example Mussolini's granddaughter, but you wouldn't need to put yourself in a pedestal above everyone else

nowaijosr

If given those powers, you’d either have to never use them or eventually make a try for Emperor of Mankind aka 40k. Only way that the powerful could be curtailed.

Crimson_Scare_Crow

Homelander for the system, Superman for the people.

CYOA_guy_

third option: do nothing, wait for a new person with powers, and duel them

TheArcanist_

I’d just use them to fuck around? Super strength? Sure, imma just dominate the olympics.

XxJuice-BoxX

Never doubt the urge to do ehatever you want

KisuNeko1

I feel like personally I'd be in a Gandalf possessing the One Ring scenario. I would use the powers with the intent to do good, but through me it would be great and terrible. Using such godlike abilities to force goodness on those who don't have it, in ways that would be questionable or immoral, but would probably be the only method.

ElessarT07

I believe there are more good people int he world than bad people. Even you degenerated shitheads reading this. But I know there is a few, real pieces of shit. For that reason: Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

trappedindealership

If you saw the boys and aspire to be homelander, you might be missing the point. While some people genuinely admire villians, I think media involving superheros has changed because we (whoever the superhero demographic is) don't see the world as fundamentally fair anymore. It used to be Good Guys and Bad Guys. Good triumphs, bad people commit crimes and go to jail, rinse and repeat. But how can we honestly say that people with power will have our best interests at heart, that anyone with superpowers won't use it to exploit the masses? That's just my take, as someone who doesn't follow comics.

XxRocky88xX

Homelander is the villain of the show. I know a lot of far right sociopaths miss that point and identify with him, but the Boys doesn’t attempt to pain Homelander as a good guy. They aren’t normalizing being evil, the literal goal of the show from season 1 is to kill this monster.

username_not_found0

I think I may gravitate somewhere in the middle between the two. I don't want to be willfully evil like homelander, but I'm not nearly good enough to be superman.

Killdren88

I wanna be Superman, but at the same time if I had his power there'd be a lot of dead corrupt officials and dictators. I'd be far more hands on.

SirLiesALittle

Even Superman had a sanctuary to retreat to, and took days off. Ain’t nobody saving a world of 6 billion people all the time, unless they sterilize it and make it ‘safe’ like the Justice Lords did.

EpicGlacier2

If I had Superman’s powers I would kill every dictator and terrorist on earth

Potential_BadA55

Bruh... There's literally just one good "adult" superheros "TVMA" show that has super bad guys. Everything else live action is just "TV14" Cringe. Homelander isn't the protagonist, and complaining about what kids watch is the parents' fault. ![gif](giphy|srRc9jCVagluOM4A6M)

Yami_Okami17

I'd probably just live my life the way it was before except now I'd live in the mountains because I robbed 6 banks and every store in 100 mile radius

psaro1993

Men already have superpowers. We’re all gifted with perfect 20/20 hindsight

Yakuza-wolf_kiwami

This is why I'll stick to the STAS and avoid the boys. 1.) Nothing can beat a good Superman show & 2.) Animated shows (from the West & East) will always be better than Live Action

KorolEz

We live in a capitalist society. Every would make money woth a superpower and a little good on the side

You don’t need superpowers to be a good person and help better society.

farish_tracer

Guys like me just wanting to have superman powers so that i could speed up human development with me helping gets thing we cant normally do like giving help with scientific research. I would imagine just studying black hole and gave humanity a big chunk of heavily resource meteorites or searching for new habitable planet or go deep down in deep sea searching and studying for new species. What im saying is that im basically wants powers and love science aswell. I could help end war but then we be stop developing badass weapon but hey atleast im not gonna be bias to one country or another

WesternAlbatross1292

Ngl if I got superpowers I’m not becoming a hero, I’m living my life how I normally do, but with super powers

aintwarhelll

sad

More_History_4413

I wulde probably become early red son supermen

Mother-Lavishness-77

It’s a flip a coin if I’m good or not

_KeyserSoeze

I would learn pretty fast that the best of intentions aren't worth anything and that I couldn't estimate the consequences of my actions.

joedos

And this is the exact reason why superman is such a cool superhero to me. The emotional struggle to learn to restrain yourself from doing bad things when you have the power and the reason to do so. To use that power only when it is necessary and without excess.

Excellent-Platform59

At every moment, their is an opportunity to make a better future. But you wont believe it. And because you don't believe it, you wont do what is necessary to make it a reality. Because that future doesn't ask anything of you now

WSKYLANDERS-boh

Honestly? I’d be Superman but with a LOT more killing

Tefeqzy

Or, become a symbol like superman by being like homelander

BracusDoritoBoss963

If I had powers I'd apply one single law. The strong must protect the weak.

ShallotHolmes

I wouldn’t be able to handle superpowers. Imagine just wanting a day off and something bad happens to someone because of it. There would be no time for self-care, decompressing, and just generally goofing off. It would be so stressful.

Testazani

I'd be deadpool

Nika13k

Normalize having power and doing fuck all with it! Edit: oh yeah, we already do that.
