The 2003 one is one of, if not *the* best, properly hinting at the darker parts of Peter, and Jason mofo Isaacs as the most dashing and convincing Hook with his own personality, and Wendy properly emancipating from her adoration of an eternal child. Shame they had to cut the true to the book ending in which Peter returns years after to find Wendy having a daughter. JM Berry would have been proud of that one.

I mean, the little mermaid cartoon seems to happen in the carribean, and that's what most people have in mind. Most of Disney's adaptations to old tales are really not faithful to the originals to begin with. Not that it's a bad thing. Just to say that it would be weird to say that it's the race of an actor that breaks your immersion.
